[The feed flicks on to reveal a rather irritated-looking Lyon.  However, the words out of her mouth and the cheerful tone she's using don't match the expression on her face whatsoever.]

You know, I was thinking... maybe I've been too quick to judge the gods and their motives.  I mean, they're making the best of a bad situation, after all.  Actually, it was really nice of them to let us have a say in what happens to our worlds in the first place.

[There's a pause as she grits her teeth, but only praise flows from her mouth when she opens it again.]

We should really be thanking them for everything they've done for us.  After all, it isn't as if they have to give us a place to live or food to eat, or even grant us these powers.  Maybe we should take this opportunity to try to understand them a little more instead of arguing with everything they have to say.

[A deep sigh and a cough.]

Just... think about it, all right?  We've all been a little too hard on them.

[At this point, she lets out a noise not unlike a growl before shutting off the feed.]

((OOC: Lyon's mouthed off on the feed one too many times, and it looks like Heimdall's finally had enough of it.  If anyone has ever heard the phrase 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all,' that's more or less what's going on here.  For the next week, whenever Lyon feels the urge to lecture someone, correct them in a harsh tone, disagree with something someone has said or even just complain about things, she will be able to utter only words of glowing praise in place of whatever it is she actually wants to say.))

I'm sure they're not withholding any information on purpose. They probably have a lot on their plates trying to manage all of the travelers, keeping track of the progress of the color returning to the city, and making sure they're able to keep Asgard's borders safe from its enemies. That's a lot to handle all at once, so the least we can do is try to help them out and do what's expected of us.

Oh yeah, somebody's been drinking the local koolaid. You definitely need to watch leaving your drinks unattended. They've got plenty on their plates, but if Loki being a prick's any indication, getting a little bit of info isn't that hard.

Loki has been very helpful and informative.

Not immediately, but he does have his uses. Baldr, on the other hand, would be very useful as stress relief. I could always use a punching bag.

Nope. Not a really nice person, no matter what other people say, and besides I've already told him what I think of him. He doesn't give a rat's ass. Hatred works as well as adoration for them.

It's true that any emotion will help the gods restore the color to Asgard, but I think it would be better to try to work with them.

I'm not working against them, and I'm prepping for the fight. Far as Odin seemed to be concerned, that's what they want. I'm not out to kill them either way [yet]. I've got bigger, uglier fish to fry for now.

That's good. We should do whatever we can to help them.

I'm going to just alter that and say "We should do whatever it takes to save our own mangy carcasses, and if we're lucky enough to keep them alive too, they can thank us for the help later." I take cash, as a general rule.

You mean you don't mind that I'm a loud-mouthed pissant who generally insults people even when I'm speaking well of them and who plans to claw her way out of hell if that's what it takes to survive?
