[...So, something has been bothering him for the last little while and he finally decided to bring it up. It seems as though he's been.... a little wary of letting his Pokemon out of its ball. After the darkness hit a few days ago, he's been afraid people will mistake Darkrai for another one or something.]

....Um... how do I word this....?

Even if something.... looks bad, is it really evil? I mean, appearances aren't everything, even something that looks nice could really be the bad guy.

What I'm trying to say is... [As he says this Darkrai floats behind him, Lucas told him to stay out of the video but looks like it was lonely being so far away from him. Lucas turns to look at the Pokemon.] ...Ah- Darkrai come on!

[and he turns off the feed prematurely here.]

So... it's like how junk food is bad for you, but it tastes good.

Sorry about that, I told him to stay out of the video since he might scare people. But I think he's lonely.

[if this had been Hope's introduction to the wonderful world of Pokémon, he probably would have PANICKED ON INSTINCT... but hey, he knows better. watching his friend's interaction with the Darkrai and hearing that unfinished thought, he thinks for a while before saying:]

... You don't want to freak anyone out with your Pokémon, right?

[...OH HOPE YOU GOT IT!]

Don't you think he... looks a little scary?

She wants to scream. She really wants to scream. She's just too tired. So she stares instead - or gapes, rather - her voice small and quivering when it comes out.]

I am going to be a pokemon professor so I should know all of them! [Although she's still having trouble remembering them all]

That's really cool! So you know all about Darkrai?

[If Himari were any less acquainted with Pokemon, she probably would have been frightened to see something that resembled the Darkness so much. As it is, she quietly listens to the message again before replying.]

Is that a Pokemon?

[....No fooling her huh?

He sighs a bit.]

Yeah... sorry, he gets a bit lonely sometimes so he won't leave me alone right now. [Darkrai refuses to leave the range of the video!!]

[Okay yeah, this is where Lucas pushes Darkrai out of the way of the video.]

[She swallows heavily.]

... he's kind of scary looking, yeah?

[Darkrai stays out of the shot :( so sad.]

...That's why I said ...appearances can be deceiving, you know?

I'm sorry. [She hangs her head.] He's obviously your friend, and... I'm not being very nice about him. Can he come back, so that I can say hello to him?

[She has NO IDEA what he is, but she does have her suspicions, and if that's the case then he'll be able to understand what she says.]

I wouldn't say all but yes, I think I do know some!

Although I can only say what I know based on what little information I remember!

[Lucas hesitates a bit at that.]

He's a Pokemon, by the way. They're all over my world, but Darkrai is.... one of a kind. A legendary one.

[He gestures for the Pokemon to come back over. It eventually does... tilting its head at the camera.]

What kind of info you remember? [he's curious...]

I kind of figured. [She smiles wanly.] I know a few people with them here, and some of them have looked even scarier than Darkrai. I got face to face with a Steelix and fainted right to the ground.

[Once the Darkrai is in the feed, her smile warms a little.] Hello, Darkrai. I'm sorry I called you scary. Anyone can be a good friend no matter what they look like, and that's something I have to remember. I hope you'll forgive me.

[...Yeah, Steelix is pretty big and intimidating.

But when Darkrai hears the apology he just waves a hand? Claw? Whatever, at the screen before floating away.]

...Ah, I think he's-...

[yep Darkrai comes back with what looks like a Shinx-poffin that Lucas has been experimenting with and working on.]

Ahaha.... I think he wants to share that with you.

[Okay, now she's kind of touched.]
