[The camera comes on and at first everything is blurry and there's a loud exclamation (it's more like a squeak) as the sound of something splattering everywhere can barely be heard over the furious grinding of a blender. Someone didn't know to put the top on the blender. There's something over the camera but it's soon wiped away to show the kitchen of Freya house covered in muck. It looks like some sort of smoothie concoction. And there's Mithian covered in that very muck, it's in her hair, all over her pretty dress and she's looking quite frustrated. Her composure goes right out the window as she struggles to turn it off, smashing all the buttons until it's off.] Alright! I give in you blasted bit of... machinery!

[She exhales, grabbing a towel to wipe her face and the--- Oh, it's on, she's just noticed the bracelet is broadcasting and she looks even more flustered, her cheeks coloring. She pauses, bolstering herself, she needs help, she's tried it on her own and... failed. Hey, she's ever the proactive princess.] This... event as well past few days have made me aware that because of my upbringing, I have not had to do many things for myself. And while I am grateful for those who have helped me in the past, I would like to learn a few things now that I am here. [And without servants.] Like how to work the various devices in this place, I do not have familiarity with most of it. Like... lamps. And kitchen things.]

[But this, she looks more enthusiastic about, as enthusiastic as she can with smoothie in her hair and all over her dress (which she thinks she's hiding well enough but she's failing. DAMN technology).] I also have a desire to learn how to defend myself properly should there be another attack like the past few days.

[He feels her pain, honestly he does. He may be used to taking care of himself, but all these modern appliances confuse him still. So he offers her a sympathetic smile.]

And will you be defending yourself from hapless kitchen appliances? I should dread for you to be wielding a blade in there, my Lady.

[ Arthur :| She gives him a bit of a stern look but it's more amused than anything. Still this is embarrassing, stop being mean, Arthur. ]

This contraption is most lucky that I did not have my crossbow with me.

You fought most admirably. I am certain no one can fault you that.

[He sometimes still gets lost in his search for certain features of the bracelet, so the question is not intended to question her abilities.]

[To be frank, he expects to show up and do all the cleaning himself, she is a princess after all.]

Oh, no. I couldn't ask you to do such a thing. [You know, she's going to spend seven hours cleaning it herself because she has no clue.

[Because nothing says 'fun' like cleaning up someone else's kitchen, right? No, he's cleaned worse, he doesn't mind.]

Hardly to your pleasure. [She laughs but she looks grateful.] Only if you promise to let me help you.

[He smiles warmly]

[ this could have been amusing if she hadn't gone through the very same thing. ]

These devices are quite tricky, to say the least. Do not despair, it shall take a week or two to understand them.

I am afraid I have never seen their equal.

[ Peeta's smiling, but he's not laughing at her, no. It's more of a sympathetic smile though there's definite amusement in there ]

I think everyone forgets to put the cover on those things once in a while.

Do not try the toaster. I believe it is a device of evil. Your bread shall either show no progress of becoming crisp or will turn to ashes.

Which is the toaster? [She is looking suspiciously around, trying to know which to avoid.]

I shall see you soon. [She offers a smile before she hangs up and tries to make an attempt to clean herself up more.]

The cover? [She glances around and then pulls what looks like the cover up with two fingers.] Oh. I suppose that makes sense.

The white one to your right. Dreadful thing, I am certain it has its own opinions on people and thus it only ever works for some.

[He makes his way towards her, pleased to at least have something to focus on other than his own guilt and fear for everyone he cares for, and everyone he has yet to come to care for.

He has never entered the welcome hall of Freya, but finding the kitchen does not prove to be too big of a problem.]

My lady - [He bows when he enters]

How dreadful indeed. [She looks at it with disdain.] I will be sure to avoid it.

[She laughs, bashfully]

I will be alright.

[She looks only less frazzled and less... messy.] Sir Lancelot. [She offers him a bit of a smile, wiping off the front of her dress a little more before setting the rag aside.]

I hope you shall have more luck learning how to make these work than I had.

[ it took her a few unattractive accidents and don't even ask about the time she tried to do the laundry. ]
