[The feed starts with a pretty happy Damien. In fact, he looks kind of anxious... or excited. Either way, he forgets to filter the post to the one person he's directing the message to.]

Argenta, I did it! Remember what we said a while back? Here it is. [He holds up a small ice sculpture that is in the shape of some four legged animal that is shaped to be similar of a tiger. Or a panther. ... Something...] Sorry it took so long, but I finally got it. Ice magic can be a bit tricky sometimes...

[As Damien sighs while looking down at the small ice sculpture, Jinjing the panda is in the background, toddling in the room... being its cute self. But then--

Damien turns around in the middle of that happening and he looks pretty shocked right there.]

Jinjing, what are you doing--?!

[And the video gets cut off there.]

[Despite that, there's only so much unsure his expression can take, man.]

[He has no good explanation for this, so he looks just as surprised as Nakama does.]

hi, damien, when the video turns on, there's the nose -endof what appears to be a lion rooting around. and then, you are being treated to the fascinating video of what appears to be a giant tongue that licks itself across the video screen. ]

[Damien is about to go chase after Jinjing, but then this video catches his attention. It's... a big lion. A lion!! Dear god. He would be sure to notify the owner that the lion has been messing with the bracelet, so he looks over to the name.

... Velige Loewe.

... You shouldn't lick the camera, you know. [Talking to an animal is nothing new here. Yup.]

Pandas don't just take off their spots!

Damien, have you seen Pika--[ Oh.

... Ice sculpture or panda. ICE SCULPTURE OR PANDA. ]

That's a nice ice sculpture.

... You remembered! [ Since all she has is staring at a blank screen that kind of turned off, she only smiles... Awkwardly.

Was it not a panda? She thinks to herself. ]

I-I know, but...! [Damien doesn't get it! Thankfully, Jinjing doesn't leave the room and just stares at Damien and then at the camera. He doesn't move... and neither does Damien.]

... [Sob. At first, Damien doesn't know what to say, but he might as well answer his question.]

Thanks... Pikachu is in my room. He was playing with Jinjing.

Y-Yeah... [With the video turned back and all. He still looks unsure after what happened with Jinjing.] Is it good?

[And then she joins the staring contest, looking from Jinjing to Damien and back a few times.]

Maybe - you should collect up the pieces? He might want them back.

[WHAT IS THIS EVEN.]

... Maybe. [Damien looks down at the pieces and wonders... a lot of things. Jinjing just stares while taking a seat on the floor.] When I petted him, it didn't feel like... there was anything else besides the fur.

... is it possible that he's cursed? I haven't heard of pets being cursed before, but nothing is really too bizarre for this place.

Pets can be cursed too? [He does look a little alarmed at first, but then... looks at Jinjing. Jinjing is stares at Damien and if it could make a dubious face, it would. Instead, he makes a shrugging motion.]

... I don't think he's been hit with anything though. He looks a bit too calm about it. I would think he would freak out more if he would lose his spots.

Well, then I don't get it. That's just not possible.

Uh.... huh. [ this is how convinced he is... dude your panda... thing... just did a stripper dance. what is he supposed to think. ]

[ yeah you don't think he knows that? but he swears it's some kind of instinct. he actually didn't realize the video function turned on until you spoke. have as much of a lion's face that can fit on the screen scrutinize you for a moment before... kind of doing a very lion-y shrug.

it was an accident, cut him some slack, man... but his paw itches and its kind of hard to groom when you have a bracelet around your paw. ]

D- Does he normally do that...?

[ It was an innocent question, but she’s quite curious on what she just saw as she stares at the transmission Damien had put up. What was going on, and why had his panda suddenly taken off all his spots? She’s surprised, and confused, and maybe a little bit freaked her all things considered. In fact, Jinjing was outshining the ice sculpture in Ririchiyo’s eyes. ]

Why is he...

[wow rude that was no stripper dance!! Damien is really trying to give Jinjing the benefit of the doubt, okay. sob.]

Yeah, I... [He's still trying to wrap his head around this.] I'll figure this out eventually.

[And in the background, Jinjing the bear thing looks quite smug.]

[Damien thinks Velige owns a lion now... in his room... that has the same temperament as he does. Wow, he's amazed. But wait...]

Did Velige go out and put his bracelet on you? [That sounds so weird, but for some reason he thinks it's plausible.]

... No. [An innocent answer to an innocent question.] I... really don't know what's going on either. I thought pandas don't normally do that, but Jinjing just... um...

It looks great! Was it your first time making one of those? [ She'll ask about the panda later.

Jinjing, you are a questionable thing. ]
