[Well, Asgard, as you've probably figured out by now, it's body swap day! And actually, you've already seen the other half of this swap, which is why Diva doesn't bother with the "well this is weird" speech. She is lounging on her bedroom floor, and Rapunzel's usually quite lovely and well-kept hair is... not so. It looks approximately like this, but like for ten feet.

But. Diva is playing it cool. Because being in a 100% human body means something that Diva has never had to deal with before.]

Hey, I'm really hungry. I didn't know humans got hungry this easily. It's weird. It takes me like two weeks to be this hungry! [She makes an upset noise] But... What kind of food is there to eat? I don't really know much about it, I guess.

[She makes a reluctant face like this is a severe blow to her pride to admit] But, um... This is kind of a lot of hair, so I can't really go anywhere without... tripping on it. And that really hurts, you know! It's too fragile. [hmphs!!] So what kind of food should I eat? Or... if someone would cook me something, I guess that would be really nice too.

[After a pause, she adds,] I would appreciate that a lot, actually.

[Nanako has no idea what this "face swapping" business is that everyone keeps going on about, but she recognizes that face!]

If you're hungry, Rapunzel-san, I can cook you something.

[Diva waves her hand lazily to dismiss the thought]

I guess I should have said something about it after all. I figured it would be kind of obvious, so I didn't want to repeat what everyone else is complaining about. My name is Diva.

[She looks at the camera a little more closely, tilting her head] I don't think I've talked to you before, though. [a beat] Hey, but would you still cook for me?

Diva...-san?

[She sure looks like Rapunzel. This isn't making much sense. Maybe she ought to pay more attention to the network.]

Of course! I'm in Freya...or maybe I should come to you.

[She sighs slightly] That would probably be better. I don't know how Rapunzel manages! And she always keeps it looking so pretty...

[She runs her fingers through the very tangled hair lightly with a frown] Hey, but before I invite you over, what's your name?

Me? I'm Nanako. Misonoo Nanako.

[She gives her a smile.]

And where are you?

Well, thank you, Nanako. I live in a house in the Sigyn district. [And she gives good directions on how to get there since idk...] The front door is unlocked, so you can just come in.

Oh, I don't know how to cook... but the kitchen has chicken nuggets, Rapunzel. They don't taste good when they're frozen, but you can put it in a box called a microwave. It cooks things! [ O RLY SOPHIE. She hasn't noticed the bodyswapping thing yet either, sry. ]

[he's already out and about by the time this trainwreck rolls into act two, so he'll scoot off of the sidewalk and out of the pedestrian traffic, tucking himself against a building to make a quick call.]

Is there anything in particular that you feel like eating?

Well, yeah, the houses have that, but I have my own house. I don't buy things like that. I wonder if Vriska would...

[She looks thoughtful at that for a moment, then looks at the camera again, since she needs to clear up this confusion] I'm not Rapunzel, though. It's people switching faces, you know? My name is Diva.

Ah~h, I don't know, Carl... What should I even eat? I just ate human food when I had to and didn't really pay attention.... I wouldn't get full on just strawberry cake and wine, right?

[But the whine leaves, and her eyes widen as a thought suddenly comes to her and she looks excited!] Hey, wait, Carl, do you think I could taste other things now? Now that it's Rapunzel? What's really good to eat?

Huh? You're not Rapunzel? ...Why did you and Rapunzel switch faces? [ She's asking the question like they did it intentionally... ]

You could eat enough cake and drink enough wine to feel full, but it would make you ill. [and bad food experiences are the least desirable thing in addition to all this other tomfoolery...]

You ought to be able to taste things just fine, but that's the sort of question that could only be given a subjective answer. Do you think you'd rather try something sweet or savory? There are varying levels of spice or salt or richness as well, of course. [gonna make the decision process even more difficult, so helpful!!] If you're very hungry, you could try a combination of the two, like a lunch with a dessert.

I don't know why... It's not like we did it on purpose. But it happened to a lot of other people too, you know.

[Her expression just kind of turns vacant, because you are using a lot of words that Diva knows but does not actually understand!]

Um... How about your favorite food, then? Bring me that.

[She turns off the feed, and a little while later, there's a voice calling for her as she wanders into the welcome hall.]

Diva-san? Are you here? I forgot to ask you, what do you like to eat?

[Knowing that she would show up, Diva had made her way to the living room, lots of tripping and falling along the way. Rapunzel's long (and now messy) hair is in plain view, leading around a far corner into the living room, and Diva raises her hand from the couch so that Nanako can see where she's laying down. Her chronically lazy self was tired by just the hassle of moving from one room to the other, yes.]

Yes, I'm right here... [Green eyes peek over the edge of the couch to look at Nanako] But I don't know what I like to eat. That's why I asked. I don't eat human food, so I don't know what's good.

Well, I can bake. I can make cake, or other pastries. If you have some eggs and milk, I can make custard. Or if you don't like sweets, I can make sandwiches. It's really, very good!

[Wait.]

...What did you mean by "human food"?

[sighs the biggest sigh..... he could go on another long spiel about how difficult it would be to replicate most of his favorite foods here and how they don't stay favorite for long anyway because he's such a fiercely picky eater, but he can totally wing it from here.]

I've got something in mind. I'll be home in a half-hour or so, then. [TIME TO GO GROCERY SHOPPING.]

[She sits up more (and now, at least, she's gotten used to keeping her head from sagging with the weight of her hair), looking interested. Her answer the question comes without a beat, like it's the most natural thing in the world, but she's quick to move onto the food.]

Oh, because I'm—ah, was, I guess, a vampire. So I drink blood, and I can't taste anything else. But I like sweets! I do like strawberries. Oh, but you don't eat sweets for lunch or whatever, do you?

Pick something good, alright!

[She smiles brightly, then turns off the video. And probably begins a twenty minute ordeal of getting out of her bedroom...]

[She freezes.

A what? A what? All too vividly, that suspicious post on the network floats to the forefront of her mind: Do any of the supernatural have a particular fascination with blood? And there, there was Johan's words...monsters.

A sleeping monster, soon to awaken.]

Ah...aha, ha... That's a funny joke, Diva-san. [She forces her smile to return. Monsters don't exist. It's fact. Only in scary stories. Nothing more.]

As for strawberries...I can make a fruit salad, if you like. I don't think that's too strange.

[She tilts her head slightly, but ends up crossing her arms on top of the couch and setting her head on them.]

It's not a joke, you know.

Of course it is! [She puts a bit too much force in her voice.]

That's... Don't be silly, alright?

[She moves closer to the couch, taking a seat. no, that's ridiculous. Vampires can't go out during the day, even if they were real. They certainly don't like strawberries. looking closer at her, she appears to be just an ordinary girl.

Because she is one.]

[She understands why she's looking closer, so she laughs]

This isn't what I normally look like, remember? Rapunzel doesn't have fangs, of course. But she's borrowing my body right now like I'm borrowing hers.

[She shrugs a little] You can look at her post yourself. She's hungry too, so she asked for my food.

[wow, that hair.
