[The feed opens up to what might be a familiar face to some. Minako's been in this world for a few days now, and while she's been taking everything in rather well, there's still some things that are concerning her.

Namely, one that she'll address right away...]

Ah, hey there. I'm one of the new arrivals here, Minako Arisato. But, I have been told that I've been here before, even if I don't remember it. So if there's anyone thast I met before, I'm really sorry for leaving on you.

[Its a little direct, but seeing as she doesn't know who knew her before, this was the best way she could broach the subject.]

What I'm really interested in right now, is killing some time. [its true. Without clubs and events and social links, she's finding she has a lot of time on her hands, and that simply won't do.]

So maybe someone could help me. I want to cook and bake some new things, and we're all from different places, right? What's some of your favourite foods and recipes from your home?

[For anyone lurking around Freya's kitchen, they'll find one Minako, still in her school uniform, rifling through the cookbook section with immense concentration.

There's gotta be a cool new recipe in here somewhere.]

[Shiki shows up in the kitchen on his normal daily routine, this time bringing in some pork along with noodles and other assorted veggies.]

I didn't expected someone else to be here.

[no no no NO there's a reason he's leaving the video off, his heart had leapt when he'd seen her on the screen only to hear that--

she can't have forgotten too, right? just like minato did?]

I can make cupcakes and brownies, but other than that, my skills are limited, ehe.

W-Wait, Minako-chan, you're downstairs!?

It's not your fault if you've been here before. The gods choose who stays and who goes. [And who returns, apparently.]

I've been craving the chicken noodle soup my mother used to make for me. She used fresh vegetables, chicken broth, white meat chicken and egg-white noodles. It's...simple, but I think missing the simple things after so many changes is normal.

Yukari-chan...?!

[Of course, she's going to think it's her Yukari too. And she's been in Freya for a little while now. How have they not seen each other.]

Yeah, I'm in the kitchen.

[Text? It must have been someone that she knew before.]

Yeah, I'm sorry if you knew me before.

Cupcakes and brownies are enough. Is it a special recipe or just chocolate cupcakes?

[She looks up from the book she was flipping through, not expecting anyone in here either. It had been so quiet today.]

Oh, if you want the kitchen to yourself, I don't mind leaving.

I know, but I don't really like the idea of leaving people behind. Even if I don't know them now.

I don't think there's anything wrong with missing the simple things. [Especially when it's by a parent.]

Maybe you can make some here?

That's kind of you. All the same, I doubt anyone would blame you or think badly of you.

[Hermione looks away, softening.]

Maybe I will. It'd be a nice change from researching and working all of the time.

[She flushes a little.] Perhaps.

Can I ask what you're researching?

Anything I can find, really. I'd like to know more about the gods, more about Asgard, more about what spurred this war as well as how the gods managed to pull us from our homes.

Wait, there's a war going on?

[The maid and no one else mentioned that yet.]

[Well... this is a surprise, albeit not an unpleasant one. So, the other Arisato had returned, hm? Mitsuru wonders if anyone had informed her yet of that particular temporal peculiarity. For now, however, she instead thinks of something to say, to begin this conversation.]

[Unfortunately while she's met Minato, she has no idea about their connection just yet.

Yukari-chan is here and now Mitsuru is too. Its not an unpleasant surprise either for Minako, so she smiles and waves.]

You're here too. Mitsuru-san?

It's fine. Besides, the kitchen is big enough for plenty of people and it's not like I'm doing anything suspicious.

[She giggles and takes on a teasing tone.] You sure about that?

[And then she nods to the food he's collected.] Is that for something special?

If you think ramen is suspicious, go right ahead. You want any?

[Laughing.]

Sure, if you have too much. I'd love some.

The amount I have is never going to be a problem so I'll put in some extra. I hope you like pork.

[what WERE they? she was his friend, definitely -- he'd said things to her that he hadn't told anyone else. she'd gone out of her way to help him, to make him feel comfortable, and they'd gone out together to that dance.

he didn't know what he'd call them; she meant more to him than the other way around, he thought.]

[and he's hoping that maybe, just maybe, something will click, even knowing that it can't, that things won't be the same.]

Well, I know how to make different kinds of batters for them! Vanilla and strawberry and fruity things.

[Oh, boy, this is going to be complicated. She knows it immediately. Of course, she's not Minako's Yukari, so to speak, but at the same time, she at least got to know Minako fairly well again while she was here. But it's going to be complicated for other people. A whole new explanation with Minato. Rion. All that crap.

Which doesn't mean she won't rush right into the kitchen anyway.]
