[Sam is in the library, with a lot of books and his laptop. He also looks a little worn out, but it's been a long couple of days. Also, it's Sam. What is sleep?]

I was wondering if I could talk to any higher level members of Freya. I've got a couple of questions about your powers that I need for the guide that I wrote.

I'm Sam Winchester -- and if you want to talk in person, I'll be at the library in the Odin district until nightfall.

[Sam looks sort of tired. It's been a kind of long couple of days.]

We're going to need to move into a bigger place. There are houses in Thor with multiple rooms that we can afford -- and this way, no one has to sleep on a couch.

We should move pretty soon, before someone notices that we've smuggled in two girls over our lease limit.

But hey, Jo and Daphne can't sleep outside.]

I have no Freya-like powers, but... Um. I could bring you coffee? 'Cause you sorta have 'oh god where is a latte' face.

Ah, you're working on an upgrade? Ne -- have you thought about including combinations of powers?

I think I'm one of the higher level people from Freya. [Level 2 to be exact, but it's not like she actually uses her power often.] I'll do my best to answer, but I'm not sure how helpful it'll be.

I could sleep on the couch, though. It's not that big of a deal.

[A moment to think.]

Or we could make Dean do it. Either way.

I'm from Freya! I think I'm one of the stronger ones, too. [At least, that's what she's gathered from conversations with Castiel. Level 3 yo.]

Coffee would be great.

[This is the face of a very relieved moose, ok.]

No, but that's an idea. I'm pretty sure only higher level power users can do that effectively, though -- and I'd need to arrange some observations. The only ones I really know about are the damage drainers and the healers working together.

As much as I'd love to make Dean sleep on the couch, I think six people crammed into a tiny apartment might be pushing it.

We're going to kill each other if we're stuck in that place for longer than four hours.

Gimme ten minutes. [ And she ends the feed. And sure enough, in ten minutes, there's Buffy with a piping hot, very large cup of fresh coffee. She doesn't even say hi, she just slides in across from him and sets it down. Cue smiling. ]

[ -- oh, excellent. Someone he knows.]

[Aw, and here she just wanted to make Dean suffer. Ruining all her fun there, Sam. Thanks.]

Besides, I just got back from dying, don't really want to try that again.

[Sam immediately closes his folder of manuscripts in order to accept the coffee, with an instant warm smile of thanks.]

[And he sips it.]

I feel like I should sleep all day now that I can, but sometimes I still can't.

[Blurgh, dammit. He's hoping for charm. But this might be interesting, too.]

How does it work, exactly? What can you do to people?

I disagree and I'll tell you why -- ah, should I come visit you in the library or will I see you when I visit Castiel-san?

[Just going to pretend that Conan's Free Will visit takes place after this conversation, if that's cool?]

I can take energy from one person and give it to another. I can store that energy, too.

[ Oh, poor Sam. :( ] You got used to not sleeping. Stinks, big time, but... [ She rests her elbow on the table and her chin in hand, leaning over to look at whatever's left open. ]

Any luck info-gathering?

Just Freya? They have all the interesting powers.

I'm trying to work on them one at a time.

[He offers a smile in return, at the statement, before he becomes slightly more serious, as he looks down at his notes.]

I think I've figured out a way to open what I want to open.

[It's said quietly, as he shifts through the paperwork.]

But I need someone from Freya to do it.

[Sam is the fun ruiner of the family come on we should all know this by now.]

It's only fun the first time.

[Somewhat dryly.]

It shouldn't take that long for all of us to pack up and move.

[He wants to be there when it's practiced -- Sam has a nasty feeling that Castiel isn't going to be able to handle not being able to control his own body.]

We can talk it over then, if that's okay?

What happens when you take the energy away from people?

[Oh yeah, out of anyone here you would probably know. You and your brother, at least.]

You know, I could get a place of my own. [She just feels bad for making everyone move on her account okay. :/ ]
