Chapter 2 ✒ Video
[Castle appears on the video feed looking stricken. He's got a 5 o'clock shadow spreading across his chin and upper lip. Swallowing, he tries to look calm, but his eyes betray that he's worried.]
To those who know her, has anyone seen Kate Beckett today? She hasn't contacted me over the bracelet yet today.
[And yes, that is unusual. The two of them usually texted on and off during the day.]
I went to Heimdall and was told that she hadn't been seen all day. She's not with the Forensics Unit, right?
[Castle knew she wasn't. He'd checked there as well. In fact, this entire day had been devoted to obsessively texting her and searching for her to no avail.]
For those who don't know her, she's slim and tall with wavy brown hair and hazel eyes. She usually wears jeans with a button down shirt, a leather jacket and heels. And she carries a gun. She's a cop. If you see someone fitting that description, could you please contact me? Or.. at least tell her that I'm looking for her?
