[Behold! A very tall and pretty woman, wearing some interesting clothing, her druid robes sitting next to her as she's under a tree. It's really not surprising if they knew her.]

When I was a small child, druids and my teacher taught me that an ovate could travel through time and gaze into the future. And it seems I finally obtained the first. My teacher was very thorough- Myrddin. He managed to teach a number of us while King Leondegrance persecuted those who practiced the old ways.

How do they say the "future" is? That nothing will be clear, and time itself is always changing. Myrddin hasn't mentioned anything about, ah- what would be the word? Mirrored? Alternate?

The same kings and nobles from my world. And yet... not. Surely, Freya, you'll be sincere enough to return Morrigu and Lancelot to my side?

That is quite an interesting thing to think about.

Expecting the gods here to be kind is pretty optimistic.

If he were my knight, I would ask him so. But I am lead to believe ours is an entirely different instance altogether - and I think you suspect the same, do you not?

The host are the Slaugh Sidhe who ride from the west and bring back mortals to the Otherworld. She took my eye because of what I did. And you're far too young to know what that is.

If we can gaze into the future, traveling through dimensions of time would not be unreasonable. And even then, the soul will reincarnate as many times as it needs to.

What manner of people are your kind - these nephilim?

[She swallows. How can she word this? Nephilim aren't the most kind of creatures in their world, being half-demon.]

To be blunt, most can be monsters. Creatures that were never meant to be and rejected by both humans and demons. Giants who roam the land who's hunger will never be sated. I'm actually grateful I've been deduced to a human, in some cases.

[ And there you have it. Every reason he's been raised to hate magic, to distrust anything borne of it or associated with it in any manner. Arthur is struggling daily to overcome this blind hatred he's been raised with, but when faced with something like this, it becomes harder and harder. He stiffens, swallows hard. Regina doesn't seem like a bad person, but. ]

Though it takes him a moment to answer her, he keeps his eyes upon hers and his tone firm. Unwavering, absolute. Undeniable certainty, because Regina has not given him cause to doubt - so he will not doubt. ]

[It surprises her each time she hears it.

The only people who accepted her for who she was were her own kind and the druids. So she isn't sure how to react or what to say. Deep down, she'll still maintain she's a horrible, horrible monster.

He doesn't know what she did in the past. It makes her smile weakly.]

I'll accept that.

[ And neither does she know what he has done. What constitutes a monster, really - who is so holy and righteous as to decide? The Christians would leave it to their God; but they are Men, and Arthur knows only what Men know.

Monsters can become human. Humans can become monsters. Things are not so black and white. ]
