[Behold! A very tall and pretty woman, wearing some interesting clothing, her druid robes sitting next to her as she's under a tree. It's really not surprising if they knew her.]
When I was a small child, druids and my teacher taught me that an ovate could travel through time and gaze into the future. And it seems I finally obtained the first. My teacher was very thorough- Myrddin. He managed to teach a number of us while King Leondegrance persecuted those who practiced the old ways.
How do they say the "future" is? That nothing will be clear, and time itself is always changing. Myrddin hasn't mentioned anything about, ah- what would be the word? Mirrored? Alternate?
The same kings and nobles from my world. And yet... not. Surely, Freya, you'll be sincere enough to return Morrigu and Lancelot to my side?

That is quite an interesting thing to think about.

Interesting? It's fact. There isn't anything entertaining about it.

If you're interpreting this as a plea to a goddess, you're mistaken. I know how cruel they can be, boy.

Would you tell me? Of your world.
[ video ]
Of course -- but there is more to it than you ruling your kingdom.
[She scoffs to herself.]
Leondegrance had be banished to Eire, your faithful knight would be more appropriate to tell you of Cymru.
VIDEO
No.

((ooc: assuming that since there is no internet in Asgard, there is no wikipedia -- unless regina wrote that article?))

Would you tell me more about that? Could an ovate really travel through time..?

The host are the Slaugh Sidhe who ride from the west and bring back mortals to the Otherworld. She took my eye because of what I did. And you're far too young to know what that is.

I want to see if you live up to their words, regardless of a separation of time or not. You are the a prelude of what is to come.
[She waves her hand, as if to brush it off.]
But since you ask, I will answer. Lancelot told me that the Romans were withdrawing from Cymru and you have become the high king and having a high king brings prosperity to the land, or some hope.
Eire has just lost their high king and the land is in complete chaos. Thanks to my kind.

I guess I'll have to take your word that gods aren't merciful! Have you had any interactions with the gods here to compare against what you know of yours?
((ooc: awesome, thank you! That's really thoughtful. ))

Your kind?

I've not heard of such a thing before.

[THERE'S SO MANY OF THEM IN HER WORLD, YOU JUST DON'T KNOW.]

[ He's trying to be careful not to say "creature," because such a term would be demeaning and he is trying to remain respectful, but. She is a creature of magic, is she not? He is wary once more. ]
What manner of people are your kind - these nephilim?
[ video ]
To be blunt, most can be monsters. Creatures that were never meant to be and rejected by both humans and demons. Giants who roam the land who's hunger will never be sated. I'm actually grateful I've been deduced to a human, in some cases.
[ video ]
I see.
[ He doesn't know what else to say. ]

Is both good and bad, she can't tell what he's thinking. So it's a gut reaction when she asks.]
Does that make you loathe and fear me?
[ video ]
But Arthur has, and he is not the same man he was when he first arrived in Asgard. He is not the same man his father crafted; he wants to believe he is better now, as Merlin and Morgana have told him countless times beforehand. That he is above baseless fear and loathing, that he knows compassion and acceptance.
Arthur is not his father.
Though it takes him a moment to answer her, he keeps his eyes upon hers and his tone firm. Unwavering, absolute. Undeniable certainty, because Regina has not given him cause to doubt - so he will not doubt. ]
No. I do not.
[ video ]
The only people who accepted her for who she was were her own kind and the druids. So she isn't sure how to react or what to say. Deep down, she'll still maintain she's a horrible, horrible monster.
He doesn't know what she did in the past. It makes her smile weakly.]
I'll accept that.
[ video ]
Monsters can become human. Humans can become monsters. Things are not so black and white. ]
Thank you. For telling me.
