Judal and Sinbad have an odd relationship, so it isn't a surprise for him to say that.

It's a little hard to explain. I can say that because of something Sinbad has done in the past, Judal is constantly after him.

Rivalry and a little bit of something else. Judal is a Magi, just like I am.

What Sinbad did was pretty big in a Magi's eyes, I believe.

I wasn't supose to say anything until the guild meeting but I'll tell you a little bit more about Magi's magic.

One magic, a magi can do, is raise dungeons. Dungeons are grand labyrinths laced with dangerous traps and monsters. The award for completing one are great riches and maybe even gaining the services of powerful Djinn.

Sinbad conquered one of the dungeons Judal raised.
