Has anyone noticed anything strange when they came back from [ 'how to say it?' ] 'going gray'? They told me I still came into work, so at least I didn't get fired, but it's all [ ...he really doesn't want to admit it ] hazy. Even before my bracelet was lost.

I still remember everything important, so I don't need any help. I just wanted to know if it's like that for everyone.

It looks like the city's gotten a little more colorful

[ ...and the sentence just dangles there without any ending punctuation. Someone accidentally hit send on an incomplete draft. And skipped any choice of anonymity as a result. Great. ]

[ action - heimdall & freya ]

[ Well, he can still do something useful, so--Heimdall will notice Cloud making the rounds through the house, first coming out of his room with a somewhat perturbed expression and then stopping on each floor to note if any familiar names are missing. At first glance he seems much the same, but any second looks will tell people that he's looking younger, practically baby-faced even as he makes his rounds on the floors in all seriousness. Plus the glow in his eyes is gone. Still, he seems to know where he's going--the "important things", people and places, he remembers. He just. Might not always be clear on smaller details, after being placed in a completely different mindset. To him, he's always been freshly sixteen, and that changes some things.

Anyway, after Heimdall House Inspection is complete, it's onto Freya. Because...he has to make sure Tifa is still okay. And he doesn't know what he'd say to Tifa even if she was the age she was supposed to be; when she's five years older, now so much older than him, it's hopeless. All he needs to do is make sure she's okay, so he can just go and look. There's no need for them to talk or her to know he was there (he really doesn't want her to know he was there).

Except all signs point to her not being in her room. Or any of the common areas. ...Freya, you are going to be stuck with a shifty-looking teenager lingering in the house while trying to figure out which of Tifa's housemates might know her. He attempts to be discreet and look like he belongs but ends up looking more like he's on the most uncomfortable guard duty ever, growing more morose hour by hour and ducking his head to hide under a hastily grabbed black hoodie. Because when the weather's warmer and you don't have your guard helmet, a hoodie is obviously the next best thing to hide in...

Yeah, this'll just be weird until Freya makes it clear he needs to get his awkward turtle out of her house. ]

[ ooc: Finally back from hiatus, and playing with Cloud's first curse! Tags will be from [personal profile] minimosey. ...It wasn't an easy age for him. ]
