[This time it takes shorter for Hanako to start speaking, although her shaky and quiet voice did not change considerably. Taking initiative and posting in the networks is still nerve-wrecking somewhat, and she's been struggling a lot to talk with everyone in general. Everyone as in, the people who didn't overwhelm her too much.

Yesterday she was ~~too busy having a date~~ at the Great Library with Hisao (trying to search for info about their powers, and not being much successful at it) and was just a little aware of the things that happened while she was away. But the most surprising thing was what she'd found on the desk in her room when she returned...]

Um... I... I saw that a f-few of you people... got hurt rather s-seriously yesterday...

[Pause...] I don't know of w-who attacked you... but... I am sorry it happened... and I hope you all w-will be alright... This must be... rather terrible for you... I am sorry for n-not being able to... word this properly... u-um...

And... I would like to thank... all the people who offered me help when I got i-in here... one of my friends was sent here as well and I found him... s-so... just, thank you guys...

[She decides to cut the feed for now, not finding anymore words to say. Social linking is hard and emotionally draining, sob.]

[Pause...she didn't expect him to straight out come over, but their rooms are close anyway, so she unlocks the door and opens.

Hisao is welcomed by an awkward, but genuine smile for once.]

Um... my name is... Hanako Ikezawa...

[He gives her a small wave.]

Hey - I hope everything is OK?

[He'd be more worried that she'd had something terrible happen if it wasn't for her public message being a little on the long and un-pained side! She definitely wasn't stabbed and that was a good thing.]

Yes... everything is alright...

[She steps back and then turns around to walk towards the desk, picking something that was laying there, letting Hisao close the door by himself.]

[He walked in and closed the door, looking curiously to see what it was she'd found.]

What have you got, there? Did you get something from home? I saw some people talk about getting things on the network.

[Hanako doesn't respond, but the turns around, holding something square-shaped in her arms.

Hisao can recognize it too well, the object having alternate black and white squares on its top. The chessboard that he'd given her for her birthday weeks ago...]

[He definitely recognizes it, and smiles. Well - that was certainly something good to recieve. Something they could share.]

Well, it looks like you've gotten this same set as a gift twice now, in a way.

I guess... but it makes me so... glad... [She holds it tighter in her frail arms.] Maybe we can play with it sometime... I wanted to show you via video, but you decided to come here directly...

If you still want to show me on the video I can go back to my room...

[He was joking, of course.]

Oh... no, it's ok like this... [She fidgets a bit, not getting the joke.]

I was kidding, Hanako.

[Eventually she'd probably get used to his sense of humor.]

Would you like a game right now? I can make us some tea, if you'd like. I saw some in the kitchen. And a teapot and cups.

[It would be almost like the Tea Room back at Yamaku, when Lily was busy with Class Representative stuff.]

[She releases a small sigh of relief, YEAH SHE SHOULD GET USED TO IT ALREADY.]

I...would love that...and also the tea... [Just like the good times, oh yes please ;;]

OK - let me go and make the tea and I'll bring it back here. I'll have to use a tray probably. Why not set up the board while I'm gone?

[He was actually pretty excited to bring back some normalcy to their lives. Even if it was just an afternoon playing chess and drinking tea. Some of his favorite recent memories were of times just like that.]

Okay... [She nods slightly, already looking for something to set the chessboard on.]

[Pause] ...N-Nice to meet you too...

Yet I sense a certain tension in you. Are you nervous?

...I-I'm fine...

[It didn't take Hisao long at all to make tea in a pot, get some cups together and find a tray. He even found some simple cookies which he put on a plate along with the tea.]
