[Welcome to what is clearly an accidental broadcast. The view is moving nauseatingly down a hallway, through a door, then through what is probably an apartment, though the camera just shows it from the waist down, all lower cabinets and tabletops. The person walks past a large mirror then stops- it's Mary, looking upset.

She peers closely at her reflection, fussing with her hair and poking at her red eyes in dismay, muttering something.]

Ugh, I look awful- [A few more seconds of poking her red eyes, and she moves on.

Into a bedroom next, where a closet mirror opposite the door shows the whole scene unfold: Mary closes the door behind her, sinks down against it for a second with her eyes closed, and mutters something to herself. Everything about her is utterly exhausted. Then she opens her eyes and- and sees something on the bed that makes her eyes widen. She gets closer and picks up what appears to be a small ring box, examining it with a wide-eyed look. It's clearly very important to her.

Her eyes flicker over to the bracelet suddenly.]

Oh, crap- [Aaaaand that would be her turning it off! The text comes up about five minutes later.]

Sorry about that. I didn't know it was doing that. Does anyone know what's going on today? Or why things and people from home are showing up? Maybe there's a pattern in what kind of things showed up. What I got was something important to me- did that happen to everyone?

[ADDED IN AN HOUR OR SO LATER]

Everyone in our apartment: there's leftover chili in the fridge and everything on the third pantry shelf has instructions. See you in a few days. Please don't starve.

[Replies will be coming at least an hour later IC-ly. She's tired and sad. And no, she does not know how to filter to more than one person. It's hard and she's from the 70's, okay.]

[Jimmy found his family photo album only hours before Mary showed at his door step. He'd been meaning to go to Claire and share it with her, maybe hand it to her because it hurt too much to look at but wound up leaving it on the table in the center of his room to answer the door.]

[After knocking on her door, waiting for some time, and realising Mary's not in there, he gives her a call instead.]

You got something from home, too? [Pause.] Where'd you go?

My horse came from home. It looks like it may be a theme.

Dean got a car. Mine was something different. how important to you is your horse i'm trying to figure out if there's an emotional theme in common or just that it's something important.

[He still hasn't worked out texting. Sorry, Mary.]

He's a very loyal and trusted friend. [There's a sound of Storm breathing as Leon gives him another pat.] What arrived for you from your home?

I got a costume from one of my performances...it was important to me too.

[ ... Between this and that night in the kitchen, Arthur is beginning to worry a bit. ]

Skipping town, are we?

[It's okay, she doesn't grudge anyone that. But she won't do voice.]

It's something that's really important to me. Maybe the gods are trying to throw us a bone.

Yep. It's too crowded right now.

Yeah, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me please.

[And it's back to video. Someone's really worried.]

It's sort of hard not to.

[Mary does the entire distance from Thor to Sigyn at a flat-out run, making it in less than half the time. It's good: the rush, the speed and blood pumping. It gives her nothing else to think about or focus on than her feet hitting the stones, and the beating of her own heart.

Sigyn. The familiar welcome hall isn't exactly a sight for sore eyes, but she does pause for a moment on the landing a few flights up the stairs. It's the spot where she and Merlin once stood, the day she cried on him and told him everything. Christ, it wasn't even that long ago.

As much as Mary steels herself to knock on the door, something about standing there when Jimmy answers, holding the ring box tightly in her hand like a life-line and trying not to cry, makes her feel very young.]

Hi. You said- your door was open.

You don't need to, I promise. And please I don't want to talk like that in public

All right, I'll like this, then. Still not used to the...other thing yet.

You're sure you're safe?

[He really hadn't been expecting her to show up so soon but his offer did still stand.] Yeah, sure, come in. [He notices the ring box, but doesn't ask yet. He doesn't want to see invasive he just opens the door a little wider to give her some room to walk inside.]

[ Because he is far too lazy to figure out how the text function works. ]

I see. [ And he does, really. He's certainly felt that way before. ] I can't guarantee there'll be anything left standing by the time you return.

I'm sure. I'm staying with someone in Sigyn in the welcome hall. What did you get from home?

That sounds nice. What kind of costume?

Like I said, everything on the third shelf has instructions. It's the shelf with all the boxes and the packaged stuff. You didn't get stabbed or anything, right?

[She walks in and immediately turns on her heel, starting up a weird little pacing pattern.]

I'm really sorry to just burst in on you like this, but I had to get away. My apartment- it's too crowded. There's too much going on.

Sigyn? [He relaxes at that. It's his old house, after all.] At least there'll be healers around--so many people have been hurt today.

[A pause.] I got...a carving. [He swallows, turning away from the screen to look at the item in question.] A dragon carving. I'll show you when you get back.
