Hello? I -- I do not understand. Why have I been trapped here? The woman-- the woman without a face, what... happened to her? [he has a million theories, and all of them are equally horrifying.] It seemed as though she were dead--

This cannot be the afterlife! It is unlike anything I have ever heard from anyone. Is it true what the letter said? That I am here in order to preserve this world? I do not know this world, and the one that I am from, I-- [he breaks off abruptly, sounding a little choked. he falls silent for a moment. he's rambling, and that won't do any good.]

Is anyone here? I have not seen anyone... not-- not a real person. I am sorry for my interruption, but I am so confused, I...

[he trails off for a long moment, and then, finally, with a bit of hope in his voice--] Is there a man by the name of Malik here? Or-- or Altaïr? Or Rauf?

[...and then he's done. he's really not entirely sure he was talking to anyone, so he feels a bit silly. So he goes and wanders and waits for a response, and looks a bit silly, with his robes and his hood up and jumping at every little noise.]

I'm not really sure about those people, but I can say that we're not dead [Mostly.] and that as far as we know, everything in the letter is true.

[It's time for Kadar to run into one of his housemates! ...or for one of them to run into him.

[His voice, when he gets around to finding it again, is disbelieving.] Kadar?

[Kadar's voice has more hope than disbelief, but there's still an undercurrent there.]

[Kadar jumps about three feet in the air and scrabbles a few feet backwards before regaining his composure. Don't do that he could have stabbed you!!]

--No, I-- I should have been paying more attention!

[Kadar's face falls a little. Is it just him that's dead? That's... well.]

So everyone-- everyone is here to... revitalize this place?

W-well, I should have been, too, so...

[...She guesses that's that?]

U-um...Did you just arrive here as well?

Y-- yes. Yes, I did. [he straightens a little and adjusts his hood. stay up! you're an important part of the uniform!]

You're not dead, so you can relax about that. And most of us aren't from this world, either, so we at least have that in common as well!

It's the same with me...I can only assume that we were all spirited away from our homes.

[Oh he saw the broadcast whilst bustling about completing various errands, and his reaction was to slump and sigh and continue on his way. It's a shame to see people so distraught; dragged from their lives so unceremoniously. He's long accepted, due to conversations with others from various time periods, that their endeavor will be successful; so there's no use in panic or heightened anxiety on a daily basis.

Think I've spoken to him at some point. Welcome to Asgard I suppose.

I am Kadar Al-Sayf. [he offers a bow in return. it's the least he can do, he thinks, even though he looks terribly uncertain about being spirited away.] I... wish they told us more about why we were here.

[Forgive him, Kadar, but by his timeline you are deadeadead, and he's grown as a person. ...He shudders to think what Malik will say.]

But how? [don't think he's not grateful, but this sort of thing goes against all the laws of man and the gods he doesn't really believe in.]

Yeah, but they're not all that helpful. They don't even have faces..? [ SHRUG ] And the ones running the place aren't much more accessible.

--Yes! [Kadar lights up a little, turning quickly to face England. If Malik is here-- if Malik is here, things will be all right. Malik will know more, and he'll know what to do.]
