...Looks like the natives're getting restless.

[It's an odd thing to open a conversation with, and unfortunately Vanitas isn't going to fully explain what he means. After a small pause, though, his voice picks back up.]

So, question. How do we know they're not all flipped-out crazy, and that by 'bringing life back' to this place, we aren't just waking them all up?

Lastly, where can I get small grubs? [This last part's said slightly begrudgingly, 'cause he knows a certain someone might be listening.]

[She has a feeling this'll be useless, given who it is, but she'll give it a try anyway. Her voice low and urgent:]

We shouldn't use it to stir up panic like this. People do need to know, but it's cruel to create any more fear than we already have with the war coming.

It was a murder scene. It looked like a murder and then a suicide.

We have no proof of that at all. Just because there have been... problems like this doesn't mean that they're all killers. Suggesting that is just creating panic. Especially when you won't tell anyone why.

If it is the same situation, then that's pretty suspicious. Some might think it's proof enough.

It... it makes sense, though. [A bit darkly.] When emotions come back, the bad ones come right along with the good ones. I don't know what kind of situation there was in that family before they got sick. And in a city this size, full of living people, there's going to be crime.

I'm sure there were! But back home the only times I ever talked to humans was when I was doing my bounty hunting, so it wasn't often.
