01 [ Video ] || Action Open to Sigyn House peeps

[silentmode]

[ Having long perfected the art of stealth, Chane Laforet has been a silent presence on the network for a few days, now. She's gathered the information she could, done the proper exploring once the sun had set each night in this strange, grey world, and made sure to trust no one.
The communication device was unlike anything from her time or world, but was basic enough in design that she caught on after a few fumbles, that would have been more noticeable to the network had she not been a mute.

And so. A woman with short, black hair looks at the community with a determined, if slightly confused, expression, and holds up a set of FLASH CARDS, as if she's presenting a project to a bunch of colleagues. She holds up one note, which reads: ]

"I have misplaced the map I was given by the maid-woman."

[ Then shuffles it to the back, pulling out the next. ]

"Please, if anyone can reproduce something like this for me, I would appreciate it."

[ Her expression becomes slightly uncomfortable, as she's now second-guessing this entire decision. Nevertheless, she holds up another awkwardly floppy poster board. ]

"Can the people here see if some have no eyes? Some speak though I do not see their mouths."

[ And another one. This time she's holding it up in front of her face, so she doesn't have to feel as awkward... ]
"If I could be shown where to go to acquire the proper materials to arm myself,
that would be very helpful too."

[ Final note! ]

"Thank you for reading this message."

[ And she just slowly ... puts down all the notes, and sits, staring way too intensely at the video feed. She seems to be RIGHT outside the Sigyn House, so that should be recognizable enough, and is very under-dressed for the weather! ]

[He tilts his head, taking amusement in her flattery!] A perfect face?

[silentmode]

... [ Augh, he's gonna make her skin glow red at this point.

She shakes her head, obviously trying to fight a bashful smile. Slowly, she runs her gloved hand down her cheek once more... ]

[hotshit]

[He's quiet for a second, looking absolutely smitten.] Rosy cheeks. [Obviously that's not it, but...]

[silentmode]

[ She walks up to him, instead, looking serious now.

And takes her index finger, running it down the left side of his face, from his temple down to the corner of his mouth. ]

[hotshit]

[He closes his eyes, smiling to himself at the touch, but wills himself not to react to it too strongly, otherwise she might get angry.] Sorry... I hope you're having fun.

[silentmode]

... [ She drops her hands to her sides, giving a silent sigh, slumping a bit. She stares at him with an inquiring look.

"You give up, then?"

And contemplates typing it out to him. ]

[hotshit]

It's a face, right? [He curls his finger, bringing it up to his lips as he grins bashfully, playing coy.]

[silentmode]

... [ Nods!!! Good job, Claire --- hey, has he already guessed it? ]

[hotshit]

[He drops his hand, smiling unashamed as he waits for his second hint.]

[silentmode]

... [ Chane feels... a little embarrassed now, at this game, but continues anyway, as she grabs her knife out and gestures of it cutting at her face.

Of course, she does it rather seriously, with a very super serious expression! ]

[hotshit]

[He looks just as serious, albeit confused!] Cut? Slash! ... Scar?

[silentmode]

[ Still holding the dagger in her hands, she steps forward and grabs both of Claire's hands, nodding. ]

[hotshit]

That's it? [He looks so excited!] It don't sound famimilar, so I figure it must be a movie that hasnt come out yet! It's um, Scar... Face, right? Scar-face?

[silentmode]

[ She looks proud, and gives the slightest of tender, kindly smiles at Claire. She looks up at him with great familiarity, recalling how fun that date recently had been for the two of them back home. ]

[hotshit]

It must've been me that took you, is that right? [He gives her a fond look, fiddling with the tips of the fingers of his glove.] For a date, I bet.

We'll have to see it again some time, while we're here.

[silentmode]

... [ Instead of nodding -- though Chane would love to carry out such plans in the future, she begins tugging him along \. She knew he'd already seen Frankenstein at this point in time, and figured they could always watch more together again, sometime. There were new memories to create, after all. Jacuzzi had told her quite a bit about that.

For now, it was important for her to get home, trying to lead his hand to go forward with her. ]

[hotshit]

Hey! Does this mean you're not gonna tell me what the other three movies are? [He allows himself to be tugged along, keeping up with her pace.]

[silentmode]

... [ She gives his hand a gentle squeeze, before allowing all of her fingers to slip out of it, with the exception of her pinky, which locks against his.

Her other hand points up to her eyes, then at Claire's, expression neutral. She'll just have to watch them with you, Claire! When she's adjusted. ]

[hotshit]

Ah! If we're just gonna watch 'em all, then I guess I should start thinkin' about another question. [He tries to grasp at her hand, he doesn't like pinky holding as much as hand holding!] There's just so much I wanna ask!

[silentmode]

[ She will yield to the hand-holding, Claire, and only gives a sliver of a glance back to him before looking ahead as she continues to walk. Her hand is holding his gently, and her expression is cool, as if she's waiting for Claire to bombard her with more questions and is preparing. ]

[hotshit]

[Claire is staring at her, blushing, obviously distracted from his train of thought because she's so fucken beautiful?!?!?!?]

[silentmode]

[ ... She averts her gaze down to Claire's shoes, embarrassed by his staring. ]

[hotshit]

... [Claire's heart is like pounding against his chest, as if it's a little creature trying to rip his ribcage open.] Sorry... I'll try to not stare as much -- it's just a bit difficult, since it seems like it's been so long since I've laid eyes on that beautiful face of yours. I'm already spotting differences in your features, as subtle as they are. And here I had already thought you were a fine woman. You're absolutely stunning, you know that? Ah, what am I saying... [He stares at her some moar, before averting his gaze slowly, looking ahead as they walk. His hand gets a little sweaty.]

[silentmode]

[ Almost as if on cue, as soon as Claire looks ahead, Chane's eyes are back up on him, watching him with what could be regarded as fondness for those observant enough to see the relieved tension in her brow, and perhaps the tiniest upturn of her mouth.

His words really were sweet, though they came off as overwrought and theatrical at times. She really liked that about him. He was always making her world so full of noise and thoughts and actions. He truly wanted to share everything with her.

She shifts closer to him, once again going in for an arm link, looking quite content. ]

[hotshit]

[When she shifts closer, he tenses, keeping his eyes trained ahead as his lips tighten together, twitching with the strain of his face muscles. Their arms link, and he's shivering, feeling the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end once again.] We haven't even been together for that long, but I already feel so happy and fulfilled! [He looks over at her.] Do you figure that's normal? Not that it'd matter to me even if it wasn't.
