In regards to Diva, she does not deserve the hate and murderous intent that has been flung upon her. If you wish to discuss this calmly and rationally, I am here to listen and explain.

Those that allow and cater to the death of another regardless of reason is not anyone who seeks justice but vengeance. I can understand the outrage of the act in and of itself, but inciting fear and murder due to it does no one any good.

Well, the hate is pretty justified, although I'd say murder won't do much good in this case as long as everyone just knows to stay as far away from her as possible.

Hate is never justified.

So you're saying we're not supposed to hate someone who just blatantly assaulted someone much weaker than them?

Are you willing to hate someone who blatantly murdered someone much weaker than them regardless of the reasons why?

Yeah, regardless of the reasons why. The only good reason I could think of is said weaker person being evil or dangerous, really.

There are no evil people... merely evil actions. And all have the right to be saved. Hate is a strong word that I feel no one understands the meaning of it, and should not be used carelessly.

Aren't you just being too much of an idealist here? You're saying we should just let the people who hurt others here run free? Oh, sure, that sounds like a great idea, let's turn this place into more of a chaos than it already is.

No, I'm not being an idealist. I believe that no one deserves to be murdered until their side is told. If you believe this, you should put your effort into finding the murderer of Diva, but I fear I cannot trust anyone to do this without it ending in more bloodshed.

The fact that it happened at all is a fault that lies on all of us. I will not allow that to be ignored. The fact that people believe hate is a fair reason to kill another is no better than the demons that you wish to fight.

I think it's just easier to let sleeping dogs lie by now, really. Sure, she assaulted someone, someone got pissed and killed her, if nothing happens now then it's all okay and way past us and we can all move on from such a dumb phase.

Seriously, people can't live together anywhere without resorting to general idiocy.

Then you would have been fine with others leaving her alone and ignoring the entire event?

Yeah, I would have been just fine with that, provided everyone knew she was dangerous after the first incident so it was their own risk to get close to her and get hurt while they knew that.

I cannot agree with that sort of thinking, either, but I can accept it.

I merely have a higher view of people than others, and expect them to be as I think of them.

That's just going to inevitably set you up for disappointment, right? People usually aren't the way you think they are, since.. well, people are unpredictable in general.

Again, perhaps, but I will continue to think the best of them regardless. I believe that is what makes me too idealistic.

Yeah, that's exactly why being too idealistic is all useless. If you're too trusting or inclined to think the best of people, they'll definitely take advantage of that fact.

Mmn. Regardless, I give them a few chances to prove what sort of person they are.

Chances, even? So if they'd attack someone, you'd give them another chance?

I will give them the chance to explain themselves. You cannot expect everyone to be calm and rational when being taken from their home, given power, and told to fight in a war. You cannot expect their minds to remain so serene with all of this that they do not react to it eventually.

Not expecting everyone to be calm and rational is one thing, but I could at least expect people to, you know, not go ahead and assault other people? That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard.

It's not an excuse. It is the situation that we are in. And not everyone will respond to it as we have. To be separated from loved ones and what they know... it can be disorienting.

Of course it's an excuse. If people like you and me can handle it, we can't go around and make up an excuse like that for other people, since they should be able to handle it as well then.

Everyone's different.
