[A young woman with a serious expression on her face appears on the screen. There are two shallow cuts bleeding freely on each of her hands near the knuckles. If the pain is bothering her, her expression doesn't betray her feelings on the matter. If anything, she looks mildly annoyed and confused, as if something isn't working as it should be and she doesn't understand why.]

I require bandages and information. If there are any X-men present, please give me your current location and I will find you.

[She pauses for a moment.]

[They should have healed on their own by now. Still, she keeps that to herself. It's better not to talk about it until she knows she's amongst people she can trust.]

...I did not know where I could find bandages on my own, and the cuts will leave a mess.

[For a moment, she's confused at the complaining. Then she briefly smiles.]

Thank you. Where are you?

[He gives her directions to his room.]

[Laura disconnects the feed and is on the move. She prefers action over talk, although she's slowly learning to make conversation.

It's not very long at all before she finds his room and knocks on the door with the side of her hand. She doesn't want to smear blood from her knuckles on there when he is doing something to help.]

[And a skinny albino teenager supporting himself with a strange cane opens the door, looking...fairly bored.]

Tch, so it's you. Well...come in, then.

[Action]

[As instructed, Laura comes into the room. She gives the cane a cursory glance. It looks like something Forge might have designed. Then she returns her attention to the albino teenager and shows him her hands. The location of the cuts is nearly identical.]

I appreciate your help.

[He holds up some bandages.]

Can you take care of your own wounds, or do you need someone to make your boo-boos better for you?

[It's said sarcastically, but he's pretty used to taking care of people by now.]

[She takes the offered bandages. Although she's used to her injuries healing too fast for medical assistance to be necessary most of the time, she can manage basic first aid well enough.]

I can take care of them. Do you have a sink that I could use to wash them first?

It's over there.

[He points in the general direction of the kitchen area.]

Just don't make a mess.

[She nods.]

I will not.

[She walks into the kitchen.]

I know how to properly clean blood.

[Action]

Hurry up, then.

[Accelerator promptly throws himself onto the couch, watching her from a distance.

He's...really quite lazy.]

[She won't judge him for laziness. Perhaps it's uncomfortable for him to be on his feet for very long, if he has to lean on the cane in the first place.

She washes her hands with the coldest water she can get. The water feels good, but more importantly, the cold will slow blood flow. The water runs for a full two minutes before she lightly shakes the excess water off of her hands and turns the water off, satisfied that the cuts won't bleed too quickly now and that they are clean. Resting her hands on the counter, she bandages her hands tightly enough to apply pressure to the cuts, but not so tightly that they will cut off her circulation.

When Laura is finally finished, the bandages are mostly tidily wrapped around her hands.]

Thank you for the bandages. I will bring you some fresh ones when I have the chance.

Yes. Are you familiar with them?

[It occurs to her that they might not be using that name here, though.]

There are many members of that team. But if you have met anyone named Logan, Julian Keller, Cessily Kincaid, Sooraya Qadir, Noriko Ashida, Josh Foley, or Santo Vaccaro, that would be a good start.

[She contemplates naming others, but she supposes that any of the X-men who were here and wanted anything to do with her would have responded by now.]

I see. Have you been here long?

I have not been here that long, so you should not give up hope that your friends are here.

[That earns Credo a slightly less morose look.]

Perhaps they have not had time to see my broadcast yet.
