... ugh.

[Ellie sounds... out of it. Not herself. Distracted, like she's been hit a few too many times in the head, or is somehow drugged up. She's finding her way but she's slow, like she's having to think about every word before she says it.]

So. Question -- how many of you guys have been in two places at once?

That was really fucking cool.

Giraffes are pretty fucking cool. Did you know that their tongues are black?

And they're really long! We got close enough to see. Their eyes are huge.

Where did you end up seeing giraffes? Did you find a zoo or something?

We got to Salt Lake City in the springtime, and there they were, just strolling around like they owned the place.

I guess they must've been part of a zoo at some point, but they probably got free after the city went abandoned and went wild. Good for them.

Maybe someone let them out, trying to give them some freedom before...

At least giraffes aren't as dangerous as some other things in a zoo. Did you know that hippos kill more people per year than any other animal?

Hippos? What, are they real angry or something?

Yeah, they're crazy aggressive. You don't want to run into them in the wild.

Don't worry, I don't think there's that much chance of it. 'Specially not in Wyoming.

Well I wouldn't expect to find giraffes wandering around in Wyoming either, but if they broke out of a zoo...

Naaah, the giraffes weren't in Wyoming, they were in Utah.

But that's more reason to stay out of the damn water. Yeesh.

It may be hippo-free out there, one just has to wonder though that if the giraffes got out, other stuff could have gotten out too.

Crocodiles. Dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs? Is Jurassic Park in Utah too?

Jurassic Park? Ah, yeah, I guess you don't have that where you come from either. It's a fictional park with dinosaurs in it, like a zoo. In the movie it goes horribly wrong and everyone has to fight dinosaurs to stay alive and one guy gets eaten off of the toilet.

And nobody saw that one coming, huh?

Apparently not. Manipulating dino DNA and trying to create a theme park didn't work out so well for them.
