Hey, um. So Stiles Stilinski is kind of --comatose right now? Which is apparently a thing that happens here, but I don't know how long he's going to be out, so. I guess I just wanted to put the word out, in case anybody was trying to reach him. He's okay, just sleeping.

[ she sounds ( and kind of looks, but she's trying not to ) so damn unhappy, very un-Rachely, though she's definitely going to try and pass it off as just being tired, if anybody asks ]

Jade - I can pick up his shifts at work, in case he stays asleep for a while. Or if anybody wants to pick up an extra shift at the Highwind, let me know. I'm okay with whatever.

[ she stops to chew at her lip for a second, trying to figure out if she has anything else to add, but. nope. there's a chirp on her end of the feed, which is followed by Hale nudging his face against her hand, and that breaks her out of her train of thought ]

[ she huffs a laugh ] I don't think it's his fault this time, actually.

Whoever decides to send us home without actually sending us home, I guess.

He's passed out but not turned grey? Is that normal? I mean... does that happen?

Apparently! I had no idea until I went to the clinic about it, since I thought maybe- I don't even know what I thought. I was worried it was a power thing, since his bracelet is still on, but apparently it's a way to send people home.

[frothing]

So he went home? [ and came back? she didn't know that was possible.]

His- brain did. [ squintwince ] I think.

I think it's like- you fall asleep, and you stay asleep, while you experience things from home. And then you wake up, and it's like you never left, only you have a bunch of new memories from home.

[frothing]

Well that's... utter shite. For him, I mean.

He's asleep. Like, really, just. [ she waves her hand across the screen, makes a ffwwwwh! sound ] Completely knocked out. It's really weird, he's breathing, and his eyes are moving like he's dreaming, but nothing's worked to wake him up so far. And that includes Hale practically clinging to his face for about five minutes. [ dark times, harry. dark times. ] I think, technically, he's okay. But I have no idea what he's seeing or what he's doing through, so. [ she shakes her head ]

Can I, em, doing anything to help? Do some guard duty? Watch over him while you get some sleep or something?

It mostly depends on how long he stays asleep, I guess. I guess? [ it's obvious she has no clue how people handle these things. it was bad enough when Scott was asleep for so long.. ] His dad and Scott are both switching off on guard duty with me too, so. But. Maybe at some point.
