[Anna doesn't realize that her bracelet has turned on when she starts knocking on someone's door. The view shakes a bit with the sound of her knuckles rapping on the door. She stops and smiles.]

Kristoff! Come on out! I want to go to the park with you and Sven!

[She waits a moment and when no answer comes, she frowns and knocks again.]

Kristoff? Sven?

[She kneels down to peer into the keyhole of the door. Not able to see, she huffs and looks down at her bracelet. An embarrassed smile touches her lips.]

Oh! Sorry! I didn't notice it was on. One moment!

[The screen turns off and remains off for a long moment before she comes back up on the screen. Anna looks...worried, is a good word. A little sad, perhaps?]

Um...I'm sorry for being a bit of a bother, but...can anyone tell me what it means when someone you know is here isn't on this list of people to talk to? I can't find Kristoff or Hans on it...

[She pauses before smiling, though it's not as bright as before.]

Thank you for your help.

[[OOC: Hans is gone, and Kristoff is idling out.]]

[Anna nods at the screen. Yes, others have told her, but the fact that this guy--someone who tried so hard to get her to not be so optimistic--is taking the time to tell her too...]

Whatever engaged is, it's better this way anyway. Maybe you'll leave soon too and then we can be jealous of all three of you.

It--Engaged means we're going to get married. Not now...obviously, since he's not here, but...

[She sighs and glances away from the recording.]

Is it really so bad here, that many people want to just up and leave?

[ He still sounds confused. ]

Yeah, it is. There's a war here that only barely has anything to do with us.

...Where I come from, summer was turned into winter, and it's getting worse. There's not a lot that can be, but...I'm hoping talking to the person who did it will help.

But...doesn't something like time standing still happen when we come here? Or--The time/space thing still has me all confused, but if that's the case, then I suppose it's okay. Things can't get worse while we're here, after all.

[ He's still not getting it, and his expression makes it evidence, but he has really no interest in pressing it any more than he already has. He's much more comfortable with time and space issues, even if it's only by a slim margin. ]

Yeah basically. Or at least, like, you get sent back to the same time so it's like you were never gone. So whatever's going on, just stop worrying about it. It'll still be fucked up when you get back, I promise.

...I guess you're right. There's nothing I can do about home while I'm here, so...

[She sighs and nods her head once in some sort of resolution.]

[It doesn't mean that her friends being gone doesn't hurt any less.]

Yeah, pretty much. [ He doesn't really know how to take gratitude very well, a little less at this particular moment, and moves on. ] Sucks about your friends though. Maybe you'll find someone else here to get married.

[Anna grins a little and shakes her head.]

I'm not...looking for that here. Hans is my true love. I just--I could use friends. I didn't have many back home.

[ There's a good few seconds of pondering that one. What is he even supposed to say to that? His instinct is to just shrug it off, but... ]

What, you want to be friends, then?

[Anna just blinks, completely caught off guard by his suggestion. She quickly smiles, nodding once.]

I'd like to be friends...

[ He's equally caught off-guard by her acceptance. He hadn't really expected it, though he probably should have. ]

Oh. Well... okay then.
