[the post is video this time, which is probably good for those of asgard who were totally horrified by how awful seth's spelling can be.

seth looks a little tired, a little grey at the edges still, and with a certain set to his mouth that suggests he's not quite as okay as he's acting like he is. he's good at fronting, though, so it's likely that only those who know him well will be able to pick up on that undertone.]

So, I just wanna take this opportunity to repeat for the record that losing your bracelet? Is a really, really bad idea. [he exhales, propping his chin on his crossed arms and looking at the camera.] Seriously. Don't do it. It's weird. Not good, nope.

[a pause, and seth blinks a couple of times, tiredly.]

Did I miss anything in the last two weeks?

What happens when you lose a bracelet?

I think the term is "going native." [seth kinda grins, but it's definitely not totally an amused expression.] You, uh... sort of lose yourself, I guess. You turn into one of the grey people until you get the bracelet back.

[ Grey people? Okay. He's going to have to add that to his list of things to figure out. Right now, he's imagining -- bug eyed, stretchy skinned, long fingered alien looking types. Definitely not something he'd like to turn into. Damon prides himself on his looks, what with having been an eternal stud and all that. ]

How'd you get it back? Through the the lost and found center?

[well, it's probably not gonna be that bad. but still not very studly, so...]

I honestly have no idea. Most of my memories are hazy at best... sorry, dude. I wish I could help more.

At least you're back all safe and sound-ish. Guess I'll be careful not to lose this bracelet thingy. [ It's a pain to have it on his wrist, but so's sharing a bathroom in this house and losing his vampiric abilities and gaining a new one which he'd really rather not bother with. ]

B-T-W, I'm Damon. [ Might as well get to introducing himself. ] Just how long have you been here for?

Oh, sorry! I'm Seth. [seth sometimes forgets that part too, so he's not particularly bothered.] Uh, actually this time I've only been here for a month, but before that I was here for a while. Like six months or so? Then I went home, then I came back.

Good to know I might have a chance to head home someday. [ He's fine with staying away from Mystic Falls for now. ] Thought it wasn't possible.

Nah, it's definitely possible. Just... you know, you have no control over it and it pretty much happens only at the whim of the gods.

[seth had never thought he would wind up going home. he's thankful for it, of course, but...]

I would recommend you don't hold your breath.
