Have you guys seen the city?! [Of course they have. But, what happened to Aradia's room? Guess who just let the plants completely overtake the inside of her place.]

It's a jungle! An actual jungle. This is the best thing. [Aradia is just so excited. She doesn't even think this is a terrible thing. Why wouldn't you want a jungle you could adventure through?] Does anyone want to go through the jungle with me? I think it would be a lot of fun to get a group together. I guess there isn't a lot of adventuring around since the city is still the city, but I'd like company while I traverse through. I still haven't seen all of the city, so this just puts an exciting twist to things, don't you think?

Does anyone know where I can acquire a hat like Troll Indiana Jones? This would be the perfect time for it!

I'll be around the Heimdall district for a little bit, but I'll probably be going through the other districts!

If you happen to stop by Loki district at some point, you can come see the petting zoo that is my shop's front porch. I'm not sure if they're cows, buffalo or yaks or whatever, but they're all over the place, and apparently they like eating this crap. One of them was getting a stomach ache so I gave it something to settle it, and it won't stop following me around.

Gah sometimes, this place is just nuts Aradia. Absolutely nuts. Admittedly, it's not such a bad thing today.

Are there animals eating all the plants? I guess it must have attracted them from wherever they came from.

[Aradia seems a lot more excited about this than Samantha is.]

I can come over right now! I'm not doing anything much, and I'd like to see the animals. Your animals are a lot different here.

Nuts? I think this is fun!

Yeah, that's what it looks like anyway. A bunch of things like cows all over the damned place. It's not so much that it's nuts that they're here. It's just that there's so many of them roaming around. It's like a weird invasion.

All the plantlife must have attracted them! I don't think we'd be able to get rid of it all otherwise. Even if I do kind of really like it this way.

Hmmm, yeah. That's a real possibility. Maybe the whole thing's some weirdass curse or something. So, you like all the extra plants, do you? They make me a little nervous.

It's like a jungle now. I never really got to experience one before. I only ever saw it in movies, so I'm a little excited.

Why would they make you nervous?

Eh... too many of them, everywhere. Always wondering whether there's something lurking in the shadows, or one of them will get animated. I don't like forests this thick, but that's me.

[She could get paranoid about a lot of things.]

It doesn't seem to be dangerous. Just kind of all over the place. I know Troll Indiana Jones wouldn't let it beat him though.

Yeah, I know. It hasn't done anything except grow everywhere. I'm just paranoid, always have been para...

Troll Indiana Jones? [Nope, she hasn't even seen the human version of that story.]

I think humans would have a human version! He's an adventurer and he's really cool!

[She likes his style too. Even if it isn't exactly the most stylish.] I'm sure it won't last, although that makes me a little sad.

Yeah, probably. Lot of people watched those sorts of things. I only saw a few movies before I ended up here, so I don't always know about that sort of thing.

[She looked at the trees quietly for a minute when Aradia mentioned wishing that they would stick around] I don't know that I'd want them around all the time. Forests are good, but this thick kind of creeps me out a little. It's... too primeval.

I'm not really into movies since I went out a lot, but his movies were my favorite.

[Aradia didn't live in a forest area, but she knows a few of her friends did. She wonders if any of them miss their hives now that she thinks about it.] Does the city change often, or is this a once in awhile type of thing?

Not that often. This seems more like a once in a while sort of thing. Random crap happens at least once a week a lot of the time I've been watching, but usually not this big.

It's kind of fun. And I guess, since no one is dying, that's a good thing! [She talks about death so easily. It's like talking about the weather. So about dying... It's like her topic to go too.</small.]

Long as the plants don't start moving on their own I think we're safe from that. If that happens, well this will turn ugly really fast. You know, the more I think about this, the more Jade must be having a blast with all the plants around.

I don't see why we shouldn't take advantage of it! We can climb through the growth and maybe even swing from branch to branch! It would be truly adventurous.

[And Aradia is all about this shit man. But she's probably excited to see plant life in general. It has been awhile. And she's not really counting the dream bubbles.]

Hah, right... you're a regular Troll Tarzan or Jane. [Hadn't seen Indiana Jones, but old novels? Oh yes, yes that was her style.] Just watch for gorillas, you hear? I'm going to be watching the plants like a hawk.

Do humans have a Human Tarzan or Jane? [Oh, how exciting! She wonders if the stories differ.] Gorillas?

Yeah. He was a kid who was raised by big monkeys in Afica. He went off in search of a woman who got marooned in the same place is parents did, but he ended up not liking civilization much so he came back to the jungle. Lots of swinging in vines and jungle stuff. I read it when I was a kid.

Human stories are so interesting! Also, you all name animals so differently. I can never tell what kind of animal you're referring too sometimes. [Like how hoofbeasts are horses. It's all very new.]

Oh right. Your names are definitely weird. A gorilla's like a big person, all slouched and hunched over, covered with gray fur. They can walk on two legs, but they usually walk on their knuckles too, on all fours. Big sloping foreheads. Strong as hell.

I think we have those, but they're definitely not called gorillas! I think I might need to really read all the books in the library to understand all the strange names that humans give things.

Yeah, I get the feeling there's a lot lost in translation that way. What do you guys usually call them? Your names always sound like things that they have or do, like you're describing them with a name.

But isn't that an easy way to categorize them? Like how do you know a horse is a hoofbeast?

[samantha_grey]

I think because I overheard it. I mean a deer could be a hoofbeast too, and so could a cow. It makes sense, but it's a little different from the way we go about it.
