ive been back for what
not even a week
and i think im running out of things to do already :(
i mean i tried talking to a couple of the locals to get their color back
but they dont seem remotely interested in anything
its kind of frustrating

[It's almost like they're only slightly easier to talk to than Aradia was when she was dead! WHO'D'A THUNK. 0m0]

what do you guys actually do around here
whether for fun or in pursuit of the overarching color mission
i keep hearing about jobs for instance
whats involved in those

and on a related note would anybody like to go out and do something tonight

[She picked up that it was Aradia's ID after a second and scratched her head. How did she not know what the hell a job was? Ok, she was an alien from another dimension, but didn't they have something like an economy?]

You don't know what a job is? It's something you do that people want done that gets you paid. I'm working at a local clinic to prep herbs and medicines for them. It's mostly working with plants, adding them to other stuff so people can take them safely.

But, so far, I'm just trying to map this place. There's questions I want answered. I figure this whole coloring book crap will figure itself out. In fact, I know it will. [Not that she actually liked that fact.]

Screw it. What do you do for fun? I need the hell out of the house of horrors. I keep thinking something's going to jump out and eat me. Just don't say 'eating people.'

[It wasn't like she trusted this one, but she needed something to do to get her mind off of the frustration that this place bred sometimes. Her plans were going to take months, and that meant she was stuck here for months. It wasn't exactly cheering.]

seriously though
it has been a very long time since i actually did something just for fun but uh
i used to like roleplaying and going on archaological digs
do you think either of those could be done as jobs?
since i dont know anything about plants

Well, if by roleplaying you mean something like what someone told me about, you might be able to turn that into acting. I'm not exactly sure there. The digs will have better odds. I don't think there's anything around here exactly like that, but you've got to be good at keeping records. Try over at the library. I'll bet they could use someone there.

And if you try to eat me, I swear I'll punch you.

[God, please let her be joking about that, especially after Kanaya's little blood drinking 'thing' she'd heard about.]

There is. I haven't been over there, actually. I think it looks like an amusement park, so it should be at least a little interesting. I'll bring a little money and we can have a look around. Meet me downstairs at the door.
