galaxynymph: (annoyed)

1st Note [video]

[It hasn't even been a week and Sheryl hasn't graced the populace of Asgard with her presence. Perhaps she was too busy wandering the hall of Freyr's house in boredom before she decided that it was time to venture outside into the city to begin finding her way around. Or if you happen to know Sheryl well enough, she's off getting lost. There's an air of confidence about her even as she peers around at her surroundings.

How in the world was she supposed to help stop Ragnarok? In fact, she was fairly certain that she'd modelled for a clothing line called Ragnarok but she couldn't quite recall all the details of that little excursion. She could be anywhere in the city really. Odin's district? Sure, why not? She could do to do a little light reading anyway. She does stand outside of the library for quite sometime before heading off in the opposite direction of the building with the intent of checking this building out with more detail later on.

Eventually, Sheryl settles herself down on a bench outside of Gladsheim Palace where she decides it's a great time to figure out how to use the bracelet these so-called Gods had given her. It seems easy enough to figure out before she graces the network of Asgard with an annoyed look as she slumps against the backing of her bench.]

You'd figure that for all the people they seem to be bringing to this place that the least these Gods could do is provide us with a map so we can attempt to find our way around this place. I mean, really. Who brings a person to an unknown place without giving them some way of making it easier to find their way around? It's not that hard!

[For those who known Sheryl, this is code for: I AM LOST AND NEED YOU TO COME FIND ME. For those who don't know Sheryl, this should be all the incentive you need to strike up a conversation, right?]

... The straight roads into the districts from the palace are not enough?

There are those who complain for the sole sake of complaining.

And perhaps you may have inspired someone to start a business dedicated to maps and creating a monopoly out of it.

And that is precisely what the gods are aiming for. [Not that he really cared or minded either way. He'd had many enemies before and felt the weight of their hatred toward him; brief irritation was nothing.]

Have you considered asking one of the guards? They bend reasonably toward the well-being of Travellers.

May as well, if you have found no other alternatives.

Have you heard of any others that you simply are not inclined to share?

From the palace, you simply take the road to the southwest until you almost reach the wall. The house is easily visible among the other buildings.

[He hears that music, and though it makes him frown he wouldn't be as displeased as he would otherwise be. Damn that magic.]

You're welcome. Will that be all today?
