[ Good morning, Asgard. Starting from 7 AM, you will wake up to this very important (!!!) audio message from Hanako.]

[ ... Okay, a couple minutes after 7 AM.

Ahhh, so nervous... it's not like she's not used to speak in the network, but this is the first time she ever makes importantly extensive announcements like these. It takes a while for her to speak after she opens the feed. ]

Ah, hello again. I'm going to take some of your time to make an announcement.

We have decided on a date for the Arbor Day event that will be hosted by me and Damien-san. If you remember our video post from a week ago, you'd know that we were working on a project to restore the flora that was ruined during the flood. We have made a lot of progress from that day, and I'm glad to say that almost everything is ready and set to be used.

I would like to thank all those who offered suggestions in the other post, by the way. Plus... the Drawing Life users for accepting to help with providing us various gardening tools, those who offered to spread awareness through advertising in their usual locations, Sasamori-san for the help with the leaflets' graphics, and everyone else who supported the project with either money or other material help. We wouldn't go this far without your contribution to the cause.

[ And then, a small pause so she won't fall victim to anxiety in the middle of the speech. ]

The Arbor Day will be occuring in three days from now, in the Sigyn's welcome hall starting from 7 AM. [ She makes sure to spell that very well. ]

I will be distributing coupons and leaflets around the city. If you'd like to help out, you only have to head for the Sigyn's welcome hall and pick whatever amount of leaflets you want to distribute. We have made plenty of them to use, and we would appreciate some volunteers for the task.

Thank you in advance. To all those who will participate, I'll see you in three days.

[ Hanako can be seen around Sigyn shortly after the message, attaching some green-colored sheets here and there, handing some over to natives and even going inside shops to distribute various coupons with the same messages on it. Other than the slogan written in the link, there are different phrases she came up with. Like...

"Help us return Asgard to its beauty. Save the green!"

"Nature is the true meaning of life. Make a change and let the flowers bloom again!"

"The gods created them, the flood destroyed them, our hand can give them a new birth. Don't waver, join us!"

"Let's show the gods we can make Asgard more beautiful without their help. Join us!"

"One day to return all the green to Asgard. That's all we need, with your aid."

... Yes, all cheesy as hell. But hey, convincing enough.

You can meet her up, ask her wtf she's doing and/or help her out, or just have idle chats. New people are more than welcome! Anyway, she's going to do this for the whole morning and part of the afternoon. Come at her bros. ]

I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but we're not in Kansas anymore, ToTo. So, why Arbor Day?

Like I said, it's to restore what has been wiped by the flood.

And no, nobody mentioned that. [ Actually serious about that, no hint of mockery in her tone. ]

So, basically, you're just taking an Earth, American holiday and swiping it as a convenient excuse to plant some trees and bushes because of all the water?

[ What's with the rudeness? She sees nothing wrong in what she's doing, so excuse her as she gets a little defensive. ]

No. It's a holiday that can work in this place as well, and it's a chance for the natives and guests alike to contribute with restoring what has been damaged.

[Try not to mind her too much. She's a surly creature most days, and some things don't make that much sense to her in this place. They may never.]

Huh, well, I suppose it does work even if it's kind of weird to be celebrating something from the states here. I kind of thought I left that behind when I got here.

Nothing wrong with an excuse for trees though. Need more plants around here.

That's what the event is for, to set more plants also where they weren't before. [ She knows for a fact that the Hel district is in dire need of them... ]

I just thought it was a good idea to do it now that this place needs it the most. [ That weak defensive barrier drops, her tone gentle again. ] I also want to put my powers to the best use.

Eh. Nothing wrong with plants, like I said. If there's no fighting going on, it might help take a few peoples' minds off the crap that's hitting the fan around here. I'll probably show up. [It was an excuse to go looking around more of the town, not that she needed one.]

What powers?

If you help out, we will be grateful. [ Just throwing it there. She knows many other people won't be helping for various reasons. ]

I have Growth. The power to grow plants, so to say. There are a very few of us here.

[She blinked. That was an odd power. She'd remembered reading it up before, and she'd seen but not replied to Jade's post. It honestly weirded her out a lot more than she'd admit, but she wasn't getting into that for the moment. It was definitely one of the less common powers, though not as rare as say speed or regeneration.]

Huh. Well, another pair of hands means more shrubs in the ground. Never actually seen that power too much. I mean, you can control the plants too, right? At least a little bit. But they're still only plants, so they're not that strong.

[ There is a heavy gap in numbers between Growth and Healing users in Sigyn. Though it makes it look more like a privileged class, or just not one worthy for the war. All the same, Hanako thinks she can put the best of her powers in this situation. ]

I see... what I heard and learned about it is that I could control plants to a certain extent, and grow them more than the usual size. I don't know if there is more to it. [ She's not aware that she's pretty much level 3 now, so yes, there's more... ]

[If anyone ever explained that third tier to Samantha, she could give them an earful on the tactical potential of the power. For now, she only had guesses and suspicions, and more the latter. The girl was full of those.]

I don't know for sure either. But I would definitely say making plants grow fast is good for this sort of thing. You got everyone from the house signed on that can do that power? That would speed it up a lot.

I have most of them signed. They'll be more than glad to help speed things up, which is why I made this just a one-day event. [ There is just a dozen of them in their house, so it was an easy task to convince them. ]

Alright then. I'll tack on an extra pair of hands. Probably'll need the help over around Loki district. Not always the best neighborhood over there, so some extra hands couldn't hurt.

[Despite not exactly loving the use of "Arbor Day," Sam really didn't see a problem with this idea, so she wouldn't mind tacking herself on. It was something to do.]
