[The flickering of a lonely flame trapped within a jar illuminates Hermione's features. She is paler than usual, but she is a lot cleaner than when she arrived and her wounds have been doctored. Something off-screen captures her attention for a long moment and she frowns.]
I can't say I admire the tricks the gods are playing on the population. [Exhaling, she closes her eyes tightly.] At least, I assume it didn't happen to just me. There would be little reason for them to exercise that sort of power on just -
[There she goes again. Using logic on Norse gods. She buries her fingers in her hair and switches the filter.]
[Filtered to those in Odin's house.]
I figured we should get to know one another a little better. I'm Hermione Granger and... [She pauses unsurely.] ...if you need a friend or just someone to talk to, I don't mind.
