[Alright Asgard ARE YOU READY FOR SOMETHING AWESOME TODAY??? Because somewhere outside in the open (probably somewhere in the Hel district maybe) there is.

SOME AWESOME FIGHTING GOING ON.

And by awesome I mean there is one red leather jacket-clad kimono-wearing knife-wielding girl doing the LET'S GET DANGEROUS tango with one dual lance-wielding love-spotted Irishman aka this handsome dude right over here also known as broduil yep. IT'S A REALLY INTENSE fight with lots of insane speed and crazy hits and all that good stuff they might as well be out of an anime straight from an action movie or some crazy shit like that. Granted it's probably been only three minutes or so but this whole thing is so cool that it feels like time is stretching for eternity!!

But this is TYPE-MOON and we can't have nice things. :( So in the middle of this badass fight of badassery there's a moment where she closes her eyes and sighs, almost as if conceding something. Certainly not this fight, right? Not a moment later though her head.

You guessed it.

EXPLODES. All over her opponent and quite possibly onto you if you were standing by close enough; it's about as messy as you can imagine it to be! What a way to end a show right... About an hour later though, there's a new post on the network. For anyone who did manage to catch to catch Shiki's hideous, gruesome death, she looks quite fine! Not even a trace of blood everywhere, and remarkably unshaken up for someone who just. Y'know, died.]

Talk about a let down. What was that, five minutes? Not really enough time to do much of anything, but I'll say thanks anyways. Dying was kinda shitty I guess, but it's not really dying anyways if I'm back. Still can't call it much of a fair trade, but whatever.

[She was just venturing about the district to locate a good position for another healing station when she hears the sounds of blades clashing against one another, and thus hurries over to see what that's about.

But as soon as she arrives, the sounds die off, and she's only there soon enough to catch a glimpse of the girl still standing there sighing before HEADSPLOSION!!! and blood and brain matter splattering all over the place before the body falls limp onto the ground. OH THE HORROR.

[ lancer, meanwhile? looks pretty unfazed for the most part. he's a little confused, but he's seen far worse in his time-- besides, the people who were stabbed before came back to life, so it stands to reason shiki will too. ]

It seems that's some sort of side-effect from her abilities, or these gods take offense to such battles. [ he's not stupid, that was way more intense than their last fight. ] I had hoped to claim victory through skill, rather than reach such an unsightly ending.

Side... Side-effect from her abilities...? [she only repeats this, her mind unable to process much due to the shock from having witnessed such a scene... even though perhaps some of her prior experiences might have been much more traumatic than one such as this.

It's probably just surprise she needs to get over for now.]

[ unless they're magical bullshit weapons but that shit doesn't fly in asgard. he's annoyed, though, that an honorable (if violent) fight would be interfered with like this. ] As a knight, this is nothing short of offensive. Only I have the right to defeat my chosen opponent.

And heads do not explode for no reason. [He points out, eyes trained on his expression to see if he was lying in any way. His insight may have been dampened by the gods for whatever reason they had, but it didn't mean that he'd be fooled by a lie so easily.

He calms down after a while, though still tense, when he concludes that the man was probably telling the truth.]

[ well that's... different, but who is he to judge. to each their own unless mindless slaughter is involved. ]

Unfortunately, no. That result was unrelated to my own abilities, nor have I seen anything similar in this place. [ back in fuyuki, maybe, but he's not that magical okay. ] Perhaps Shiki herself will be able to tell you when she returns.

Tsk, too bad. That could've been really useful, too. [judal moves from the wall to examine the headless dead body that was just lying there. he's seen corpses before, this wasn't really new to him.

[ Soooo quite a while before this whole post happens and Shiki just first got her powers back, the first thing she obviously has to do is show them to her roommate, right?! Head exploding trauma is something Ange is used to either way, let's go kill furniture, much more interesting.

[He was watching, distant enough from the fighting to avoid any of the gore when the girl's head burst but close enough to see it in enough detail to make him recoil in surprise.

When the suddenness of the whole thing wears off and the remnants of what was a human head have all adhered to gravity and fallen firmly on whatever surface that had been in the path of their trajectory he approaches slowly, moving unnoticed past most of the other onlookers.

He doesn't say anything as he looks down at the body, perturbed by the manner of her death.

His eyes focus on the man she was fighting. He, at least, seems to be just fine.]

[ this whole thing is doing little but making lancer even more bitter, to be honest. he can feel the other man's eyes on him, along with the other watchers, and so he rests one of his lances across his shoulders and glaces around. ]

I was not aware of the presence of such a crowd.

[ because while the exploding head deal had obviously pulled in a few more shocked onlookers, he knows most of the crowd was simply interested in the fight long before the gorey conclusion. it's annoying, to reach such a dishonorable end when being observed. ]

[Well. That was something even the King of Heroes didn't see every day. Mongrel deaths were generally all the same to him, and normally he would have just kept on walking by, but that was just weird. And in the middle of a duel, no less.]
