So this isn't bad for a prison. I mean prison is almost a harsh word, but at the end of the day that's what it is. Not many would give you your own room with a bathroom divider and ways to survive. Unless it's the Big Brother house all over again. Never again. Reality shows are the pits, glad that one got nipped in the bud before it started. Well, it's already started but nowhere near what it could have been. Most prisons just put you in a cell and throw away the key, or even a box. I was put in a box once. That wasn't fun when it rained. As far as prisons go, I've seen worse. And if anyone wants to argue semantics over that let me warn you that I'm known for being able to talk and not stop.

Anyway there was a point to this I suppose. Somewhere. Oh that was it. What's the longest time span anyone here has actually been here?

... The Big Brother house? [ ONII-CHAN?! ] What's that supposed to be all about?

It was a reality television show. A pretty bad concept really. Get some random people, put them in a house that has everything they need and film it twenty-foour seven.

That sounds like something that would be dumb enough for some people to broadcast on television and have others actually watch it, yeah.

So you're saying this might be a little like that?

Lots of people watch it. It's almost like brainwashing without the subliminal messaging to go along with it.

I doubt anyone is recording this and putting it on the internet for everyone to watch. It's mainly the idea we're all chosen and dumped in houses with everything we need to carry on as normal as possible.

You don't actually know if someone isn't recording all of this though, right? It would be the weirdest and most large-scale version of that show, that's for sure, but it's not entirely impossible.

Besides, I know witches back home who would do exactly this stuff to people as well for amusement.

The ratings for it would probably be through the roof if it were.

Witches? Makes sense. When it's possible to do something to someone, most people would do it.

Exactly, it's why you have to make sure to never give magic to someone who can't handle it. [ sigh. ]

Some people in my world learned that the hard way. "Power corrupts", that's what they say, right?

Some people find it without needing it to be given. Or inherit it. Causes a lot of problems for sure.

And power does corrupt. Most of the time, anyway.

That's even worse. Inheriting stuff is bound to make it end up in the wrong hands eventually. And I'm saying that as the heir of a big family.
