[After having his bracelet returned to him, Soushi was having a difficult time readjusting to his current situation in the city. It was as thought all the memories, all the guilt, and all the emotions that were haunting him had returned at full strength; or, maybe, it had doubled in strength while he was grey. Whatever the case may be, he felt sick to his stomach. Very sick. But even so, he can be found sitting in one of the benches at the park, head lowered to the ground as he begins his latest transmission.]

...it would seem I have returned from the grey spell. I am uncertain over the length of time I had vanished, but it feels as thought it was a while... [There will be a pause before he admits.] ...my chest hurts, and I currently feel nauseous...

[Then there will be silence as he tries to find a neutral tone to his voice. Allowing his more formal tone of voice to return instead of the hollow and quite voice he was currently offering.]

What are the latest developments that has occurred or is occurring within the city? I haven't had the time to check the network as I....returned at this very moment. I would greatly appreciate to be told the latest news as I feel under the weather. [Then another pause until he remembers.] ...I won't skip my shift with the city patrol tonight, no matter how ill I currently feel...[He needed something to keep his mind off his current troubles and feelings. He wishes to ignore them as long as he is able to. That's why his job in patrolling the city was so important to him.

As he thought about his next set of words, there will be a long moment of silence as Soushi was uncertain over many things. He isn't certain if it was the guilt, current demeanor, or lack of readjusting to his current environment as he felt the need to ask an important question pertaining to friendship and self-worth. It was a question he has had in the back of his mind ever since he spoke to Jane about it. Honestly, he would normally never ask or even allow himself to be bothered by it, and yet he was. It was all so odd to feel like this.]

Before I end this transmission and if there is anyone still listening -- if you are, then I thank you for doing so -- I have a final inquiry to make. [A pause as he takes a deep breath before deciding to say.] Does an individual who has committed a heinous crime deserve to have friends even if they committed said crime in their home world and without meaning to? Would it be for the best for that individual to isolate themselves as punishment in this world? Would it be proper for that individual to cut all ties with all those surrounding him?

[And without saying anything else, he will end the transmission with a simple "thank you" as he no longer had the strength to keep speaking any more as he felt he would lose his stomach or himself as he thought about his master.]

Then it might be for the best to get my weapons registered as soon as possible. As much as I do not enjoy the idea of doing so, but the law is the law. Hopefully it won't come to having to explain myself to them.

[And he would be a poor excuse for a city patrol and bodyguard if he were to begin breaking the law now.]

And speaking of the city patrol, has the meeting you once spoke of been conducted? I am uncertain over the exact length of time I was in the grey spell, so I can't help wonder how much I have missed in the last few...days? [How confusing.] How long ago did the surprise battle occurred? I do believe we had one of those happening...? [Maybe. He thinks it did. Hopefully he isn't mixing up his memories now.]

Even so, I'm sure they'll understand.

[She sighs and rubs her temples.] I want to say the battle was a couple of weeks ago, but everything feels like a blur. As for meeting, we've all come to corral around the network, which isn't the best option, but it seems like the best option to make sure we reach everyone.

I can understand. Please don't force yourself to remember.

[After all, the city followed a distinct way of time compare to any of their worlds. He could understand the feeling of everything blurring together.]

I see. [He doesn't blame the lack of gathering everyone into a meeting with so much happening at the moment.] I'll do my best to check on the network once I have regained enough energy to do so. At the moment, I do not believe it is a wise idea to use it now... [Not after the spectacular show he must be giving everyone now. Even so, Soushi will try to push the thought away as he remembers a question he wanted to ask Jane now that she was present.] Ah, but now that we're on the topic of communication within our group, may I ask you a question over a specific topic another from our group has told me?

[Usually she's more on point with these things, and wishes she could be as such now.]

Someone informed me the group is considering the idea in teaming up in pairs of two, are they correct over the matter?

That's correct! It might be helpful if we had folks working together in case of emergencies. The trouble might be more than one person can handle on their own, and whatnot.

It's quite understandable, and a wise idea as well. I remember having a difficult time calming the crowd as I did not have another charm user part of the city patrol to assist me. Fortunately, I was able to find a couple of users to assist me in Freya's district.

[The other districts got out of hand quick and he grew just as tired to always rely on his powers.]

How will the pairings be determine? Do we choose on our own or will there be a lottery to decide? I had someone from the city patrol offer to partner up with me not too long ago... [He's pretty much asking -- if his weary tone gave any indication -- if it was acceptable for him to simply choose a partner in this case.]

I think it's most important for the partners to work well together, whether that means joining them to make the most of their combined powers or because they get along well. I wouldn't think folks pairing off as they please would be looked down upon.

[In other words, it was fine by her if he teams up with whoever he likes. Soushi didn't particularly like nor disliked the one who volunteered to work with him, so he had no reason to reject their offer. So with a smile and nod.]

Understood. I'll do my utmost to make as much progress as I can with my new partner. [Although, he does feel slightly guilty over it because his master was his partner; it almost felt as thought he were betraying her.] Thank you very much for speaking with me today, Jane-san. I greatly appreciate it. The information you have offered should be more than enough as a starting point to catch up on current events.

[She smiles amiably.] Gosh, don't think anything of it! I'm more than happy to help, and I'm sure you and your partner will do very well.

I wish for the same success as you do. [After all.] It has been a while since I've been able to refer to anyone as such.

[Ever since the last week of summer when his master released him of his duties to her, to be more exact. It all felt odd to him the more he thought about it.]
