[The shuffling of papers and some sort of metallic object getting the last few details hammered into it could be heard in the background before a few friendly faces appeared on the screen.]

Aladdin, Tony Stark and I have been working on a project for a few weeks now and I think we are to the stage where we could use some help with it. That is if anyone interested in a light weight armor with the added protection of runes? We could use a few volunteers to test the design.

We need people with all sorts of different shapes and body types for this. It's important to get all information we can so this will work.

[Aladdin says over his shoulder, he is doing a few last minute checks on the rune work.]

Si, just as he says. So would any of you be willing?

[The workshop's door was open just a crack, enough for the sounds of beating metal and even the occasional Italian phrase to drift outside to be heard by those in the streets. ]

[It doesn't take too long for him to arrive, fortunately. And the sound of what he can hear through the partially open door is very definitely welcome. Especially since it means that the instructions have gotten him to the right place.]

Hallo! I heard there might be someone who could use a hand, here.

[Or perhaps more than a hand, but that's a small enough detail, he figures.]

Doctor, come on in!

[This said loudly enough to be heard outside even if the Doctor had already stepped into the workshop. Couldn't look up just now you see, just a bit of work to do over here, but Leonardo did wave a hand over his head as he finished up the adjustment. ]

There! Now you will want to try it on?

I'm already in.

[Not by much, yes, but he's hardly going to let an open door go unentered, when he knows that he's been expected in the first place.]

And I think it would be terribly hard to get any idea of anything that might need to be adjusted if I didn't.

[Now he looked up but was only slightly sheepish for making the mistake. This was just to exciting to worry over little things like that!]

Ah! So you are!

[He hurried over with a piece of the suit in hand but paused... as he nearly stepped on that extra long scarf the Doctor always seemed to wear.]

Maybe before you try on this breast plate you should remove that scarf? I would not want it to become caught or tangled on anything.

[There's a moment of silence at the request, and an expression that says very clearly that he's not really sure he likes the idea of having to take it off. He's done it before, but just leaving it somewhere... well, he'd like to know that it'll be safe.

On the other hand, he's not going to get anywhere if he doesn't.]

If you insist.

[And so off it comes, as he looks for somewhere to put it down for the time being.]

[The back of a chair is offered for as a place to hang the scarf but, extra long as it is, there is little way to prevent it from dragging the ground. Maybe folded several dozen times it would stay? Ah, he leaves that part up to the Doctor to decide before once again picking up the breastplate and handing it to the Doctor. ]

The side with the lower neckline goes in front and then I can fasten it for you along the sides. But it looks to me like it might fit with very little adjusting!

[It does end up folded over a little bit, before Four leaves it hanging over the back of the chair. Not folded over very much, but enough to make sure that it isn't going to drag on the floor. No sense in having it get underfoot for whatever might end up happening next.]

Ah! Good. That'll at least mean that there'll be less needed to be done on that front.

[Or less physically, at the very least. But either way, he slides the armor on without even the slightest of pauses. This, at least, isn't something that he has a problem with and if it really does fit without much adjustment so much the better.]

[Once this was done Leonardo stood back, rubbing at his chin while looking at the it of the armor. ]

It looks perfect to me, how does it feel? Do you think you could jump and move around as you normally would?

[There's a moment of consideration, at that. It's not something he's used to wearing, but it's not actively uncomfortable. And it's not restricting any motion that he can tell.]

You know, I rather think I could. Even most of the things that I don't normally get up to, as well.

[It's not always running and getting out danger. Sometimes there are things to sneak into or otherwise take more complex gymnastics. Or simply involve getting under the TARDIS console.]

Doctor...

[The other man was favored with a sideways glance and matching smirk. ]

You say that like there is anything you would not get up to.

[There's a brief moment of silence and then a grin. One that's very nearly the equal of Leonardo's smirk, especially given the sparkle in his eyes.]

Oh, very few things, at the least.

[The things he can't quite bring himself to do, and anything that's not one of those things is something that he's at least not unwilling to try.]

You have been to so many places and times, if you can see any room for improvement in this armor do not be too shy to say so.

[Pfft. The Doctor, shy. That too might have been a little joke at his expense. ]

I have been, yes. But you see, I don't usually bother with armor. I've seen it on other people, yes, but this is really a rarity for me.

[It fits, yes, but that doesn't mean that he knows much about this sort of armor.]

Then we will just have to work with that. At least now we know it will fit a man of your size, grazie Doctor! That is a help.

Although... what sort of weaponry are you expecting this to stand up against? Since it might end up making a difference.

We are hoping it might provide some protection from the usual sword and knife attack, as well as for fire since that is what the fire giants use so often. The runes grant the armor extra durability and should prevent the one wearing the piece from getting toasted.

Ah... it should. I don't know anything about the runes involved, but you don't usually need that much to hold against knives.

[Swords... that might be a little harder, but it depends on the sword, or so he figures.]
