Jack! Jack Jack Jack! Doctor, Miss Tardis! And just... just anyone! [Alice is practically spinning never mind jumping and bouncing. She has drawings all over her walls of the three guardians she met.]

I met them! I met Father Christmas and the Easter Bunny and even the Tooth Fairy! I met them all and they're incredible and amazing and so much better than the stories ever said! Did anyone else get to meet them while they were here!

[She suddenly gasps although not in surprise but in excitement.]

AND HE KNEW! Jack, Doctor, Miss Tardis! Father Christmas knew! [Knew what is left unanswered but she's too excited to explain.]

Why do I have a feeling that's a very, very large group?

You have no idea. And let's not forget the sub-club for the ones who get to see their old powers used in another house! Double the frustration, double the whining. [And he sounds particularly whiny about that one. Gee wonder why.]

What was yours originally?

Snow, frost, ice, controlling the wind to fly... anything connected to winter, pretty much. Turns out the bookworms got that. [Jack does not approve.]

... At least my power makes more sense for someone like me. Even if I don't like it very much.

Why do you suppose they ended up with offensive capabilities?

Believe me, I'm dying for that explanation. I know the gods choose us according to our personalities, but the powers make no sense at all.

Not how I do it, generally. Having to think of myself as a 'healer' is something I'm still adjusting to.

The shrine of your patron god, others don't work. And... I'm not really sure. I asked for a better staff since the one from home isn't magical anymore and got a nice metal one, will probably resist a fight.

As long as Heimdall isn't against using weapons, it should be all right.

... Not that I'm much of a fan myself, but it should work out.

Just a bit, though I'd argue it's much more complicated than that. I wish it was just 'teen drama.'

It might just be that our noses are very sensitive to that type of thing. If we can still feel them, anyway.
