[multifacets]

[The first thing viewers might notice is Rise's disheveled appearance. Some of her hair's fallen out of her pigtails, her face is smudged with something dark gray (ash, perhaps?), providing a stark contrast with her pale skin.]

U-um, hey guys. [Her voice, normally so chipper, is strained and hoarse.] I think we're going to need some healers ov--[She breaks off, coughing.] O-over here. We're in the castle's courtyard.

[Another coughing fit keeps her from saying anything else, and she simply shuts off the bracelet after the angle gives a good view of the courtyard, occupied by several other people in a similar state.]


(About an hour later, from the hospital):
If anyone's planning to leave the city through the gate, you should be careful. I don't know how far out we were, but we got caught by a group of fire creatures. They were really strong.

[She goes quiet, looking down at her hands.] Oh, and...can anyone tell me if we missed anything while we were gone? Thanks.


(ooc: Rise and a few other campers will probably make their way to the hospital themselves, but feel free to catch her along the way or after the second part. Also, Touya and Hilda will have their own log later for close CR, as might a few other campers, just as a note!

[She knew they had been on vacation, but Baldr said he wasn't going to hurt them.

Why did he lie about it...?

After struggling and failing to come to a conclusion about the god's thought process, she finally sends a video message, deciding to do what she can for now.]

I-I'm a healer. I'll be over as soon as I can!

[And just as promised, she will make a dash for the courtyard, even thinking to bring some first aid supplies in case it comes to that.]

[Rise's still curled up on the bench where she'd sent the video out when Hibiki gets there.

She looks up, blinking.]

Wow, that was fast. [Or did she slip into a daze...?]

I... I didn't want to leave everyone here for too long...

Where are you hurt?

[multifacets]

[Everywhere...but that's not a good answer. Rise's never had to get a healing before so she doesn't even know how much of her injuries can get healed.]

Um... [She coughs suddenly again, her throat burning.] A-actually, if you could do something about my throat, I'd be so grateful. The smoke got into our lungs when we were out there, and it's been hard to breathe...

[saving_sound]

Smoke? I don't think I can get it out, but if your throat is damaged, I should be able to do that much.

[She moves over, holding her hands over Rise and willing her throat to be healed. Please work...!]

[multifacets]

[Though there's still an ache from the serious burns she's gathered from the fight, Hibiki's healing works like intended, clearing up the strange residue hurting her throat. Suddenly, she's able to breathe much more freely, and Rise lets out a sigh of relief.]

Thank you. [She smiles at her.] This would be a good time to get your name, huh?

Whew, so it worked after all...

[There was a little doubt, but now that it seems to have cleared up, she's glad.]

My name is Hibiki.

Mine's Rise.

[Now that her throat's cleared, her voice comes out clearer and more strongly.]

So this whole powers thing...the healing doesn't always work?

I wish it were for another reason, but... It's nice to meet you, Rise-san.

As for the healing, not always... When you first come, you can only heal a little bit for each person. But I think mine must have gotten stronger because I've been here so long.

Was that all you needed? I have some medical supplies with me too just in case!
